Technically, you’re wrong. But sort of right. People throw kicks to hit that nerve on purpose. So that’s not an excuse as to why you lose a fight it doesn’t need to be brought up. I will say, though chito did not mean to throw that kick in that spot. Sean evaded the kick and chito toe hit the nerve. So while it is done purposely he didn’t do it on purpose

Sandhagen didn't dare punch with him, and won by wrestling. Vera must take big risks but will eventually make it at least a hard night for sean, if not the upset.

He also set the BW record for SIG strikes landed in a 3 round fight. He also had his best round against Petr in the 3rd round after getting rocked in the 2nd. Chito is going to look horrible in there

Seems to me that everytime Sean is asked about what happened in this fight he doesn’t want to admit that his leg gave up because of a kick by Chito. Instead, Sean addresses that it was a fluke or an unfortunate accident.

No, the problem, as I understand it, was his leg was wrapped super tight, and normally you can shake feeling back into your leg after the peroneal nerve has been hit, but because blood flow was obviated, he couldn't get feeling back into his leg. His coach, Tim, said he complained a few times before the fight that his leg was wrapped too tight. Could be an excuse of course, but hey, let this rematch be the deciding factor, eh?

This is 100%, not how this fight is going to go. No one is talking into account that this fight is also in the large cage. The 1st one was in the small cage, which made it a lot easier for Chito to stalk O'Malley. I swear EVERY fight O'Malley has everyone says "Oh just kick his legs, just take him down." If it's so easy to just kick his legs or take him down, why hasn't anyone done it? Including Aljo the "best wrestler" in the BW division.

That's why Aljo and Merab both say not to over extend and rush in with O'Malley. Also, O'Malley was literally in the back BEFORE THE FIGHT throwing that exact same right hand on the pads. I guess all 12 of O'Malleys 17 wins were all luck too huh? 😂 Aljo had 2 chances to take O'Malley down and couldn't. If that was luck, then it was luck that Topuria KO'd Volk.

Can't really pad someone's record while in the UFC. He still has to win....? And I'm by no means a fan boy of Sean. I'm just not delusional and let my feelings get in the way of being able to see he's a good fighter. If you want to see a padded record, go look at Ilias fights BEFORE the UFC. They're all 0-5, 0-1, 1-4, 0-1, 0-1, 0-1, 0-2, and a 10-4 guy. Did they push Sean to a top 5 contender fight when he was not even in the top 10? Yes, but tbh they're doing that with a LOT of people now, which sucks but doesn't mean they're not good.

Who had the better leg kicks in that fight? Who was landing? Sean was winning the exchanges on 1 leg, Chito is so slow and so telegraphed that Sean was able to catch and or block everything Chito threw, while also landing his own shots. Chito is so far away from Sean that if Sean doesn’t fall down he wins the fight on 1 leg. Did Chito land a strike in the fight outside of the inaccurate calf kick that accidentally hit Sean’s nerve? Sean was about as compromised as you can be as a fighter outside of being knocked unconscious, his greatest attributes were completely nullified, and he still was outclassing Chito. Idk how you can watch that fight and come away with the opinion that Chito is going to win the rematch. That is absurd to me, based on what? A kick that happens once a decade, where he still was unable to land shots on the feet? C’mon. If you’re banking on Chito landing a kick to Sean’s nerve again, you have a better chance of hell freezing over or being struck by lightning twice. It’s not going to happen.
