Seals spotted during a beautiful cruise on the Oosterschelde

Join us on the Oosterschelde. The weather is beautiful to make a nice boat trip. We sail under the Zeeland bridge and encounter Seals on the sandbank.
The beautiful nature reserve is very popular and we come across several pleasure yachts and sailboats.

Oosterschelde National Park is in open connection with the North Sea via the storm surge barrier. Twice a day, 800 billion liters of salt water flow in and out of the area. The mudflats and sandbanks that are under water at high tide fall dry again at low tide.
The Oosterschelde is a unique area because of this tidal nature: a dynamic world of wind, water, mudflats and salt marshes.
