I have found a straight edged razor blade to be more effective than sandpaper. Work slowly, running the blade along the rim. I buy a box of 100. They are pretty cheap.

Wow, That vase is GORGEOUS! I just started doing resin and have been wondering about recoating a large vase I have. It is one that I keep outside as a pond spitter. Would the resin-covered vase do ok in the outdoor environment? I have sprayed it with a clear sealer but it's already peeling off. I thought it would last longer with resin. Thanks for your videos, I just subscribed and like!

Hi, lovely vase - great colors. I have a question that is not related to this video, but maybe you can answer it. I love to cover my acrylic paintings with resin, but no matter what I do, the edges of the canvas never seem to get completely covered. I make sure the painting is clean, I use a leveler, keep an eye on the resin, but when all is said and done and the painting is all dry, some of the edges are not perfectly covered... Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Many thanks.

Thanks for sharing the resin seal. A yr ago I poured on several vases for my son's wedding and used a spray seal. Even though I sprayed at least a half dozen coats they did not seal to last, got through the wedding beautifully though. How much resin per vase do you use?

How much resin do you need to use for a case this size? I broke down and got some to try on a painting. I’m not sure if you answered that question in another video. What size canvases do you normally use?

You only need maybe about an ounce for this vase. I don't have a normal canvas size, I use 8x10, 11x14, 12x12, and 10x20 the most.

Mixed Media Girl I use 8x10, 9x12, 10x10, 10x20, and 16x20. Because of you, I started with the pour painting. And appreciate all your videos! I use to oil paint, but life got in the way. Trauma therapy wanted me to let out anger from abuse as a child. Threw some paint at a canvas, because I really didn’t know what to do to let it out. Didn’t like it. And started looking up techniques here on KZread. Your work is amazing! But this stuff is addicting! And now have a ton of paintings I’ve done. Looking forward to trying the resin to seal a painting and keep the 3D look to it. However would also like to do one or two vases. Fun gifts.
