Sealegs 6.1m Amphibious RIB Arrives at Herm Harbour
An amphibious RIB boat with driven wheels. The Sealegs 6.1m amphibious RIB can be seen driving into Herm Harbour, on the island of Herm in the Channel Islands, on a very low spring tide. This was filmed on the 22nd August 2013.
The Sealegs 6.1m amphibious RIB can be used on water and land. It can launch itself into the water and then land itself afterwards up a beach or slipway.

Ideal for beach front launch and retrieval and closed yachting communities where it can be driven from the home garage to the boat ramp.

To show it arriving and how far it had come up the beach. The tide was a long way out that day.

Yikes, don't they create a ton of drag under the boat? Rear ones seem to flip up but I don't see how the front folds...

0:19 you can see it flips up forwards, so it will be blocking the view I'm guessing when you are in the water

It folds up forward, but if I remember it's just below the level of the bow tube when up. I did see one of them passing through our harbour once, that's what I remember that from.
Legal in gated communities and clubs.
Just gonna flex on y’all not wheel boats
