I couldn't believe my luck when I found a Panasonic DVD/Video Combi and a 3D Blu Ray Recorder on the same stall.
a Japanese version of Pokemon Sword and some nice Playstation 1 games as well as a sealed Nintendo Switch game.

Yeah definitely got myself down when I found out they weren't working but it's all part of reselling.
Was a great Carboot sale first time going and would 100% go again

Don’t worry about the slight bit of damage on the ps1 games, even the cases are going up in value. So you buy a couple of cheap ps1 games, front case cracked on one of them, rear case cracked on the other. Make a good case out the 2 of them. I can guarantee ps1 games are going big next year closely followed by ps2 and all thanks to CEX naming their price so to speak.

I'm so glad I've finished my PS2 collection because the prices are going up already, going to be ridiculous next year.

Most people do that on eBay already.
A bit of isopropyl alcohol on the laser and the tv combo will work again 😊

@@liamsellsretro also put a bit of lithium grease on the rods that the laser moves along. It’s just a bit of maintenance for that type of thing. Now, as for the vhs/dvd, I’m sure there’s a reset method for that.

I had a good look online & found various repair kits on eBay but I think it's easier to sell as spares & repairs.
