Well, that was quite entertaining. Denzil practicing his dismount in the moving parallel bars (a bit more practice perhaps😁) AND a seal with a flip on the attempted dismount. Thanks for the exciting start to Saturday morning here in Des Moines.

@Projekt Kobra I doubt these cameras are specialized for this but our eyes definitely are specialized for nature, if you got a good camera then it'd definitely be better than our eyes for seeing that far in sunlight.

I'm doing an over-ruling. That dismount was a 12/10. Such form. Beautiful grace in air. First class recovery and acceleration.

One of the things I love most about watching you all is how you laugh at/with each other. Since what you do is so serious, considering the potential outcomes, it's good to keep that "balance." Life goes on.....Blessings.

There are videos of seals calming down when they know they're being helped. There are also videos where the seals hang out for a bit after they've been helped. It's touching.

@Projekt Kobra hello Kobra. You are absolutely right about the international thing. Calgary (arguably) is more well known than Alberta internationally because of the Flames. When I am in the US with my Alberta plates, I am invariably asked where Alberta is. When I have my Calgary Flames flag, I don't get asked where Calgary is. Anyways, this seal rescue video is very international. And the top post is an international greeting. I am sorry about the fingernails on the chalk board. I was just communicating in an international way. Saludos mi amigo.

What a joy you all must feel, rescuing Seals, fresh air and doing God's joy!

This is one of my favorite videos. The seal sitting in the net backwards, looking so smug! Great job guys for not giving up on him! And so happy Denzil was not hurt with the less than graceful dismount.

Denzel is crazy fast! That was impressive

Denzil is so fast you had to put the video into slow motion to see him fall down and get back up!

I saw Denzel go down and was concerned, then he went flying past the car, definitely a pro!

I like how your order of priorities is: 1. Make sure the seal is secure in the net, and confirm that you caught the correct one 2. Ask Denzil if he's alright 3. Laugh at Denzil

Denzil lives up to his nickname, the Flash! He fell but was up in less than a second and secured the seal in the net! I'm also very impressed by the fact that the seal actually turned himself around in the net. Very impressive rescue, OCN!

Ah to be young again like Denzil, at my age (58) I would of been on the ground holding my knee like Peter Griffin for 30 minutes. Good job guys.

I have seen many of these Videos and have never seen anyone trip over a Seal whilst running through a huge group of Them or stumble whilst jumping off the truck until now . Poor Guy went from Superman to being a " Beach Torpedo " ,then to becoming a "Rescue Ninja ".

Great recovery Denzil, you were up and running before I had time to gasp at the fall.

Man, you have a great team! I don't know how you can keep an eye on the one you are after when they all start moving. Just amazing!

This catch had everything, face-plant dismount, backwards seal in the net, and a satisfying seal save to finish, so good. Glad Denzil is ok after his fall guy impression, when I was around 10 I tried to do similar when getting of the bus from school, the driver had opened the doors before we stopped, I figured I could jump out running, nope, good job I had been training in Judo so knew how to forward roll safely before I face planted the tarmac, gave the kids on the bus a laugh.

I always feel sympathy for the seal because I’m sure they think they’ve met death when they’re captured in a net

I'd forgotten how entertaining this rescue was. Ahhh, Denzil. I have no idea how he recovered from his "dismount" so quickly but he was still gone in a Flash. The seal was a naughty little bugger too. Thanks fellas. ☮️

Happy Denzil was okay after falling off moving truck. Denzil is a trooper. His behavior makes me think he was in the military.

Denzil is tripping right along! So fast! And the seal… preferred a breach birth, but you midhusbands got him turned! I hate when the trash has cut into them. Hope this pup heals quickly, "born" into a new tangle-free life. Every day you heroes give me hope!

The seal’s quizzical wide-eyed expression on his little face - peeking out from being the wrong way round inside the net - as he was being pulled facing forwards up the beach, & you could almost see him thinking: "I never knew it was possible to move so effortlessly on land, without bouncing along with my flippers!" He [probably _extremely_ briefly!] seemed to be momentarily enjoying that part of his weird experience!😯☺️
