Yeah I have a friend that’s a Niners fan as well. Luckily he didn’t let me hear about it especially since I watched the game at his house haha.

2017 Rams vs. Seahawks was worst, but this was definitely second….. an embarrassment to the franchise

absolutely appalled by this game. one of the main reasons we couldn’t defend against the pass is because our d line only pressured the qb 5% of all drop backs. that is absolutely pathetic

We imploded we have to beat the rams in November that might was well be a playoff off game

The play that made me so mad was before the half where they ran the ball twice in a row when all we need was 5 yards. Fucking tragic play calling . Then the miss field goal felt like momentum swung. Pete Carrol 😡

I know I was so upset. After that drive all the momentum seemed to shift in LA’s favor.

If don’t win in the trenches were fucked especially if our secondary can’t even cover

We barely ran the ball in the first half then

We stopped the but let everything else go

Geno had a bad game stop covering for him BOBO was wide open for a go ahead TD and he didn’t see him happened a few more time and that was with our starting LT RT

Remember he doesn’t get the bird’s eye view like we do as fans. It’s easier said than done when you have multiple D lineman constantly in your face. You know Geno is kicking himself for that. But when the defense is on the field 2/3 of the game, not much the offense can do.

Offensive play calling was the factor. Predictable.

This looked like a Jim Mora coached team.

Sort of felt like they thought it was just gonna happen for them…

For real. I mean Geno said it himself the Rams played with more heart, soul, and energy than we did. I hope this game was a wake up call for them.

Make no mistake, this isn't Clint Hurt's defense, it's entirely Pete Carol's. You can fire Hurt but that won't change anything. Whoever they bring in will still be running Carol's outdated defense. There's no more Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril rushing the passer and there's no Cam Chancellor destroying receivers over the middle. Unless Pete evolves his philosophy when it comes to his defense, this season is going to be an absolute disaster.

What are we?! The Arizona Cardinals? The New York Giants? The Houston Texans?

Need to jump the route as a corner and safety. Horrible anticipation skills.

No decent depth on the OL. A lot of DBs that are worthless. Our 2 - second round picks are wastes. First rounders still TBD.

Secondary can only cover so long, maybe put someone over 300 pounds at nose.

Bro when did they fix the run defense? Of course the Rams knew how to take advantage of Bobby.

Limiting to 2.3 a carry is really good. It's just that D line could not get to the QB at all.

So can you explain why our defense is constantly bad and has been since 2017? Keep in mind this is PETE’S defense not Clint Hurtt’s so I respectfully say don’t get it twisted. Over the middle has been a constant issue for our defense for that past several years. Things need to change ‼️

Dude there’s been much worse Seahawks losses during the PC JS era. You’re being way too emotional right now. And come on the Super Bowl loss was worse by a long shot. It was the most embarrassing play in NFL history. No one will remember this game in 3 years but that Super Bowl loss will forever be a stain on the Seahawks. It literally ended a would be dynasty. There was no coming back from the monumentally stupid decision to throw the ball in that situation. So this Rams game is nothing in comparison

I get that but keep in mind we were COMPETITIVE in that game. Even if it was in the final round vs a regular season game. This game we showed no fight for the amount of expectations the team built up over the offseason. Plus we rebounded from that game so it's all in the past lol. I know there was 42-7 back in 2017 by the Rams, but our season was already looking bleak at that point. We had high expectations entering this season and yet that's how they started out. Getting blown out at home. And like I've said we have rebounded, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that we got HUMILIATED on home turf after expectations were through the roof.

It was foul….so many years now, teams attack the middle of the field on us. Seeing higsbee get those yards gave gave me PTSD. We need to change it asap or we are in for a lonnggggg season. 🫠 it’s week 1 so we can’t completely freak out but man…..

Yeah this issue has been a glaring one ever since the end of LOB. But it also doesn't help that the league has gotten softer than Charmin so you can't hitstick people across the middle like you're used to.
