I love all types of chowder. Grew up in Maine, and it was a staple during the cold winters. I still make chowder living on the south. When I know we will be cold😊 I will get my ingredients together. Clam was always my favorite growing up, still love it!

Hi Jinne, I just had a flashback seeing your buttery milk base to my childhood for Christmas eve. My mom always made oyster stew. This looks pretty good. I may just have to make it. Thanks Jinne!

I have that same dutch oven. I love that you keep yours clean. LOL I do too. I see people doing videos with theirs all burnt up and brown stuff all on the inside. HOW can anything taste right or cook right with all that burnt on stuff on there. It's not hard to get it off if you clean it well everytime you use it. What I wanna know is how in the world they get them so messed up??? I'm a nut! Looks so yummy. Now I'm hungry!! Fasting starting at midnight on the 8th. I gotta make this SOON!!!

I just made this for dinner tonight. I used the powdered milk. OMG delicious !!!! People need to make this. Thank you so much for this. I didn't have old bay seasoning, so I used Tony Chachere's creole seasoning, 1 1/2 tbsp. I will look for old bay next time I'm in the stores. Absolutely delicious.

NIIIICE! I have to splurge for more crab and some clams, maybe some shrimp. I have about everything else. This is a gourmet pantry meal!

Looks delicious….will add this recipe to my preps😊 FYI, I found “Chicken of the Sea” crab meat in a pouch at my local Dollar Tree….. with a 2 year shelf😊 I’ve never seen crab in a pouch…. Nice addition to my preps!

I just made homemade chicken soup/stew from pantry.

Sounds perfect! I have canned salmon, clams, crab, and shrimp ( tiny, but shrimp is shrimp 🍤)😋, corn, and potatoes (I may use fresh to use up the few I have left). After a couple of days near 80, we're having some coolish ones, so this sounds good. You mentioned cream ... would 1/2 cup be enough with 3 1/2 cups of milk? Thanks for sharing. ❤
