I recently purchased and installed this piece of equipment today. This is the second time I purchased some thing from Jet Boat Pilot. Everything about the experience with this company has been absolutely awesome. The product is exactly as described and adds functionality for rear exit onto my boat that I always wish it had from the factory. These guys understand these boats because they have purchased them and they use them and they know what people would want.they’ve been doing it for many other types of boats for a long time. I highly recommend this product and anything else you see for your Sea-Doo switch.

It's about time someone came out with a kit for this! Brilliant. I cant understand why it did not come this way from the factory on all models.

Just did this install. This video plus the kit that JBP sends is spot on. No gate adjustment needed. The fact that the drill bit and the correct thread lock is included makes it so easy. Thanks to Will and the team at JBP.

Just installed it. My only feedback, or what I did differently than the instructions, is I couldn’t get the bottom bolt threaded using a little right angle allen wrench, which is all I had. The supplied screw is a harder metal than the rail so it cuts in the threads as you screw it in. This was very difficult with a small allen wrench. What I ended up doing is using the original screw that was removed along with the T30 on a 3/8’s ratchet to get it threaded. Then unscrewed it and installed the bracket easily with the supplied screw. Otherwise, an Allen head socket with the ratchet would’ve helped too I’m sure. Excellent product, very impressed with it.

This kit will not work on the 2023 13' compact base model. Have you developed a kit for this model yet.

hypothetically if you put a bar between the 2 rails on the gate to basically bring the bottom rail up that 1/2 inch you could use the original bottom hole to put the screw in no drilling ??

Jet boat pilot back at it again making up for Sea Doo’s many deficiencies! I’ve been searching for a way to do this for months.

Great idea, great product, congratulations! Would it also be possible to add a plug to insert into the original hole that is being left unused to the kit?

Very nice idea but not sure if it would have been good to just use the original hole and just have that bigger part farther down with an extended plastic piece that used the original hole. What about adding a latch at the top to hold it in so it doesn't have a change to pop up and out?
