I just bought tow sea doos I am a bit mechanically inclined but am new to the jet sky world one is a 2002 gtx-di and the other a 2002 gti with a717 single carb just purchased them never tested them on water but I know they have a few issues specially the gti and am hopping I could reach you out from time to time for help will that be possible?

Really enjoy your channel!! Has helped me a ton with my rxdi. Would you know if a person could change the 3 small oil lines from the pump while the engine is in? Have an oil leak and think it may be one of those lines.

Geeze, the space is so tight . I would think you would have to at least remove the fuel rail and possibly work with a small mirror but I am sure it is possible.

I’ve been searching through all your videos. My two 2002 Gtx have carburetors. Do you have any videos with those. Or an email I could explain more detail, basically they ran out of water with hose seemingly fine. Got them in the water and both are hard starting, one only goes just over 2000rpm the other starts and stalls till the battery dies. And I really don’t know the basic steps of of diagnosing after fuel and charger battery and spark,

The only carb 951 that I have worked on was the seadoo sportster. When a machine is out of the water there is no resistance so they will rev up quite easily. It is when you put them in the water you discover there are other issues. Check compression first..Then fuel. If your carbs are clogged up then that for sure can be an issue. Try pulling the choke while running in the water. (just part way ) and see if there is any change.

Can you please help me out with my 2001 seadoo rxdi. Does not want to crank over idk some kind of electrical problem fuel pump does not turn on. Need help.

Do you get any beeps when attaching the teather ?

Matt, my 2nd (non running) rxdi beeps and blars like a alarm when I try to turn it over. I’ve gotta get a fresh battery in there to see if the cylinders will turn over. But what’s with the loud alarm / beeping ?
