Would have loved to see head to head with Raptor Deck. They're appealing because they are local to me.
What does this boat with seadek ook like now? Im skeptical because i keep hearing that sunlight being reflected onto seadek can melt it and cause it to shrink.

Who’s the competitor?
Horrible trash company. I had Seadek on my new boat. After a year it started to peel up. I contacted SeaDek and they said it was installed incorrectly. It was installed on a new boat at the manufacturer. They refused to do anything....trash product.

I am considering your product for my flats boat. The boat is stored in S Florida without a cover and exposed to the sun. Can you tell me what the life expectancy is with this level of UV exposure?

Hi Greg, with full sun exposure all year long I would say seven years or more would be an average life expectancy. After that, the pads will still be fully functional and adhered but it will look worn and the surface texture will be quite faded.
