@Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy yes he does..coz only he knows what parts of cakes are edible and what is metal or wood or other rubbish...he covers everything with fondant..even the cake base made of wood..and the metal structures he uses are also covered in fondant.

@Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy when did i bully him?...you are being too naive...i have actually eaten a couple of cakes cookies and pies from carlos bakery and honestly they were not worth it....i could have had a lot better for the same price...and do you really thing the client is as surprised to see the cake as they appear at the end.....they know exactly what they are getting coz they are given the cost of the cake before the baking begins... also sure he makes what clients ask but it is paid for by the channel TLC...you should know that most of the cakes he makes are actually not edible ..they present the cake for the shoot and then bring out sheet cakes for actual consumption....buddy doesn't even bake anymore ..he only shoots and most of the baked good are not even made at the bakery but at industrial scale at the factory..

@Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy it is naive to think that people criticising him are bullying him and it is naive to think that HE made those cakes mija....he actually doesn't....the ideas and even the designs are the client's and the channel's ,the bakers bake the sponge (which even in the show looks utterly dry )and it is always someone else working on the details....in the end it is just shown that he is assembling it or may be spaying the colors on some parts...that also he actually doesn't...he only appears for the shoots...he doesnt make any cakes...he hasn't for over a decades now...

Yeah Buddy only really frosts the cakes. His crew does the rest the make the decor mostly. Buddy does barley anything and takes all the credit his workers did.

I remember a youtube video where someone cut the cake into a dog and put icing on it (it was very realistic...at least from what I remember)- pretty sure there wasn't anything else - I remember watching a lot of those ~10 yrs ago

All the little creatures I’ve tried to save over the years...always because my doggies would try to eat them. Only one survived. My mom only let me raise it so big because it was getting hard for both of us to take care of it. It’s was a little bird. I got to see it get the little fuzzy feathers. Still to this day have no idea what kind of bird it was but, they said they released it him.
