Sea Otter Rescued by Monterey Bay Aquarium Finds Home at Shedd Aquarium

Ойын-сауық

Pup 719 is the latest rescued otter to find a permanent home at Shedd Aquarium after being rescued by officials at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Rescued at Carmel Beach in Carmel, California, Pup 719 was just 4 weeks old when the Monterey Bay Aquarium Sea Otter Program came to her aid. Now 10 weeks old, the pup is achieving important milestones and under the constant care of Shedd Aquarium animal care experts.

how do aquariums decide if an otter can be released back into the wild or needs to stay in an aquarium setting? what about Pup 719 made her unable to be fostered by an adult otter mom as they often do?

oh, that's oddly depressing to see my bottle liner theory not pan out, darn. I was going to use it for my raccoon kit to prevent aspiration since I thought it would create a vacuum behind it keeping the milk near the top and letting the air out. Huh, well at least it will save on having to constantly clean and scrape off plastic while trying to get the old formula free.

WOW You can what amateurs the Shedd staff is compared to MBA staff. They feed her by hand and make her dependent completely on them for treats. Are they training her for a Sea World like entertainment show?
