You can learn the puzzle strat which is: place 1 or 2 medallions in the middle, look at what symbols are on the last thingy cuz it's a combo of all of the symbols on the other thingys and then look at what symblos is under water on the middle and you should know what the anwser is

Terrible explanation, but the people with the intelligence to solve it didn't need your help. I was once with a complete retard who spent the whole duration doing nothing because he said "I was trying to solve the puzzle." The whole time, he did nothing - and did not solve it. Some people are just dumb, just be honest and let the smartest person in the crew solve it lol...

Btw you can do it with 1 medallion if you look at the last block it is a combo of everything so you can base it of the first one then put in the 2nd and 3rd

If you are solo, don't let the door close on you because the front vault door will close and you wont be able to get your acquired treasures and you'll just be left with the gold you collected

Going back in for those last couple gold piles seemed an excessive risk when solo slooping. But it was a good run

It is, most of the time I was with my friend, but what you can do is go full PvP, spawn, stock up, roam and fight anything in sight, you'll die, but you'll eventually get better. OFC getting banked while on an island isn't very fair

Thanks!! Only attempted before with 2/3 people so this will make it easier. Im only getting stone coz im fairly new so i only get 1 captains chest and the rest are all seafarers etc After the puzzle should i be focussing on gold coins or the worse chests?

do your vaults have the puzzle chest? if yes do it first, otherwise take every chests, getting all of them out should be somewhat easy since the lower tiered vaults are smaller. I would assume the gold piles aren't worth the chests tho.

@@reconfiguring8051 last I played, a solo vault where you get only the biggest chests was worth 40k ish (when it launched), but there's also a lot left inside with the curios and other so I wouldn't be surprised

I hope since this was posted you picked up a thing or two, cause you missed a lot of that vault. Clear the entire upper bits of all the loot and drop it all down (trinkets are debatable), then knock out the puzzle with 2 of the 3 medallions (only need 1 if youre a big brain boi), then move all the loot. I rarely leave anything but the coins piles behind. Good luck to you🤘

Whenever I do this I only get a bunch of seafarers chests inside the vault, nothing good ever spawns, and my gold hoarder rep is level 40 T-T

@@colbstar7389 its the key quality, the missions range from giving you a stone key for a low value vault to a gold key for high value, usually lvl will give you gold key voyages

You get better chests by the type of key for the vault, a gold is the best and will give a decent amount of captains and marauders, silver is the second best, and stone is the worst if I’m not mistaken. The level of the vault will also affect it, with level 25 gold hoarder vaults giving less than level 30s, and so on. Edit: another comment said how the type of keys you get are affected by your level, with 45 onward giving gold keys, there is no guarantee it will give a gold or silver every time depending on level, but I assume the higher the level the higher the chance of getting gold or silver keys.

it has to do with your reputation level, duno at what lvl, but at some point you're* gonna get the gold keys

Stone keys are level 25-35 Silver keys are level 35-45 And gold keys are level 45 onwards Hope this helped

Yeah it's only a bit of loot. I'd be pretty mad too but hopefully you learned from it. Always check your horizons and the island you're at before doing the vault!
