Big flyer upgrades I did was odyssey BB, FSA integrated headset and hydrolic rim brakes

id say go for the big flyer as it costs the same as a blocks. if you are a shorter person, lets say around 5'5, you can still ride 29'ers just as well as you can ride a 26'er.

The sebikes.com website doesn't usually sell their own bikes on it. You have to either buy them from a local SE Bike shop dealer near you or purchase it from an online dealer. If you wanna find a local dealer, use this: www.sebikes.com/pages/find-a-dealer

@@zenbeasty9335 Honestly going up or down hills on SE Bikes isn't that bad. It might seem tough or "impractical", but since they're so light and the gear ratio is perfectly tuned to the bike, it really isn't super hard. Unless you're talking about, rough terrain hills.

The Big Ripper has a better bottom bracket and headset, not Big Flyer. Most components of the Big Ripper are upgraded compared to the Big Flyer.

SE Bikes are in very high demand, they're shipping out bikes to dealers whenever they're able to, plus with COVID-19 it doesn't help them. Get the big ripper, it’s $100 more but has better parts on it,just know that it will be hard to pedal and do wheelies cause the gears are set for top speed but if you change the rear freewheel big ripper will be your favorite

Hey there, I'm not SE Bikes, but I suppose I'm a kinda veteran. I have a friend that I know personally who has had a So Cal Flyer for 2 years now and it still works. It's in perfect condition basically other than the fact he's popped his back innertube tire twice because he was peg jumping while it had too much PSI in it. In other words, as long as you're not reckless and take care of your bike, it will last you for a very lonnggg time. Also, be sure to do maintenance on it and regrease it like every 6 months. You can take it to your local SE Bike shop dealer to do it for you if you're not confident in your own abilities.

The SE Bikes team is working as hard and fast as they can to ship out their bikes to everyone. Plus with COVID-19 it's delaying all their shipments. I'm currently waiting on my Monster Quad which won't arrive until January!
