I can't figure out if Greg won the lottery or figured out he can write off his pinball machines on his taxes as a business expense. Either way good for him finally getting his collection built up.

I was at the CES show this year and was able to play and compare all three options. First I have to say that I loved the the way the game played and the lower playfield is a must. Don’t listen to anyone telling you it’s a gimmick or it stops the flow. The lower playfield is really something different in this game. It’s really fun and you don’t lose any perspective by playing with a smaller ball. The big problem for me is the premium vs the LE. looking at them together in person, the colors that Chris developed for his incredible art on the LE are astounding. The premium is great, but for me, after seeing and playing both, I could only own the LE. I just hate that I don’t have a choice due to the fact that the lower playfield is so great. I spoke with my distributor yesterday and he has one remaining LE that he is now holding for me. Without a doubt, the LE should have been the black and white version.

Reruns were on Nick at Nite in the early and mid-90's. That's where I saw the show growing up. Haven't decided between Pro and Premium. I loved that b/w TZ I saw at expo and I think the Premium will look even better in person than the pictures.

Is it at all possible to have you further elaborate on just how the metal ramp "cups the balls"? Anyway you could help make that a little more visual would be much appreciated 👍

Also, sorry Zach, I am leaning "Team Greg" as I connect with him on a Germaphobe level :D As a side, yes Stern seems to have upped the Pro game but they also upped the base price.

No offense taken when Cary refered to me as Stern. Stern is a team !!!! Everybody worked hard on the game and we are very proud of our Munsters game !!!!! If I am actually a Stern that's cool !!! Gary is awesome and my name is on OUR building lol !!!! How cool. Maybe Gary will allow me to call him Dad ???? Anyway we are all one big family here. I watched the munsters when I was a kid, not the craziest cool theme but the pin looks really fun though the way it was designed

I'd take a Premium with color also but have heard that the b&w has to be seen in person to be appreciated. Even so, I like the back glass artwork of the Pro better than the other two. Also, to me, the LE cabinet art is much less appealing than the lower models.

Cant wait to play this one! I always liked Munsters better than Addams Family.. Herman and Grandpa are a perfect pair. AND THERE NEEDS TO BE ANOTHER SLAP CHALLENGE!

Stern should of used clear inserts with RGB LED's like my Star Trek Premium? That would of made a lot more sense on a Black and White Premium version vs using colored inserts.

Zach, "Premium or Pro" ? For me, Pinball is about color, but The Munsters belongs in B/W, but the Pro+LE are beautifully done. I'm leaning to the Pro just because of the color. I'm just torn between Color-Pro and the BW-Premium. I was born in the early 60's so I grew up on the Musters, Adams Family, Twilight Zone, and the Outer Limits.

@@SDTMI know this is an old video but I’m hoping you’ll see my comment. Struggling with the same question, I think the cabinet art on the pro is superior imo. There’s a premium in color I’m working towards because I feel like the lower playfield is a HUGE feature….but……the art on the pro just so good….. Have you formed any opinion on the pro vs premium (in gameplay terms) since this video? If so can you share?

Don't know if I'm going to get this or a Ghostbusters finally... I really want a ghostbusters and I might not be able to get a NIB GB if I wait much longer... But... That just means I might be able to get a modded LE for the same price I'd pay if I wait later.... But, the art is amazing in this game, and I love the coding and the rules... While I enjoy shooting Star Wars... I think the rules are too complex... I like old school rules better than a lot of the modern games and Star Wars rules just too complex... For my taste... Still a fun game. We'll see how it plays out... But, I think the game will be deep enough for a multi pin collection. But, this does look to be a special pin.

Its sad to say i stopped buying pins and started to sell off my collection. Due to the failing canadian dollar. The price of a new pin in Canada , as well as the insane shipping costs from Marcos and other parts companies to Canada. Its getting to the point its not worth it😞. Its a very sad and dark time

LOVE the detailed first impressions content. People are thirsty for this stuff, and you delivered. You’ve had great content from the beginning, but ever since JJP’s Pirates I think the depth and timely relevance of the episodes have been fantastic. My first impressions of Munsters: -Beautiful, yes. -Great shooter, seems smooth as butter. Layout is certainly different enough from other ‘similar’ layouts. There isn’t a Spiderman vs Star Trek comparison for Munsters for example. -I’m 90% sure the lower playfield is sweet, but part of me thinks the small balls make it too zippy and toy-like. Probably just takes getting used to. -Only thing I’m concerned about is the code... After watching Deadflip content the code seems unfinished and fairly basic. Sort of the typical Stern problem that we don’t see from JJP at release. You guys gush a lot about Dwight, and while he does have some great games it is known that he doesn’t like to finish code. GB still has an uncoded wizard mode 2 years after release plus a couple serious glitches. Lyman’s perfectionist nature would never allow the major GB issues to go as long as they have without being addressed. Maybe it’s Stern’s fault at the end of the day... but my fingers are crossed that Dwight can continue to work on and complete Munsters code in a timely manner.

Wilson Hunter fantastic takes man! That’s the type of info we love reading. Regarding Dwight and gb code, the code structure in my opinion is a blast. Different modes, telling different stories, collecting ghosts as a task, I could go on and on. I’m mixed on the argument about unfinished wizard mode because I’ve only been there once and it’s damn near impossible to get to because you must complete all modes just not start them. Getting there is a very satisfying feat in itself. I would put money on the fact that most people that complained about an unfinished wizard mode have actually never even reached it. I enjoy Lyman code as well, but he isn’t coding greatest or complete codes on every game either. I think Dwight code clicks with me because of his moments and tasks and modes. Which is why I think Lyman’s masterpiece is TWD. Perfect use of tasks/modes but also utilizing risk and reward with X shots and multipliers.

Straight Down The Middle: a pinball show awesome response and great points! I do agree that the code structure of GB is a blast. Also Star Wars has become one of my favorite games despite some negativity from the community. I’m certainly hopeful for Munsters code. In general I think Stern has really upped their game thanks to competitive pressure from one great company and a couple up-and-comers. It’s a great time to be a pinball fan.

Should we be concerned about the negative reviews about shallow code, absence of drop targets, etc?

lol, trust me. I apologized to Borg. Hell, I even called Herman "Eddie" at one point. I planned on doing a follow up with a more in-depth impression, but it would just essentially be a re-hash of everything you guys mention in this video, and I wouldn't do it justice. Good job, guys. I may be in the minority but I hate that there is no color Premium. I appreciate the black & white but it would get old for me quick. That said, this looks like the first Stern "must buy" for me in very long time.

Still dont care for the BW.. Was planning on prem but will probably go with a pro instead. IMO there's not enough value in the LE to justify the price.
