    Great game and video fellas. My favorite shot is when I get the Well of Souls multiball and you have to try to hit the idol shot while trying to juggle a 6 ball multiball attack. Love the dmd animations on the screen when it happens, with Indy throwing torches on the snakes (especially with the color dmd) when you hit the idol shot. Excellent!

    Love your show!!! Question for you, if you could go back to when you first started playing, knowing what you know now, what would your first machine be? I'm a barcade, laundromat, basically "anywhere there's a coin-op"player but I'm just about ready to take the plunge and start playing at home.

    Hey Chris, I think it depends on how good of a player you are. Some games that are to difficult you will get home and hate it! Too easy and you want to get rid of it in a month. Me personally would have killed for a Spider-Man as my first game. Good flow, decent modes and good multiballs. But people often get tired of it pretty quick. That being said I don't regret JP Lost World as my first pin at all. It eased me into pinball and I learned a lot on it. The good thing is as long as you don't over pay you can trade around quit easily. I've found that no matter how good a pin is it has to resonate on a certain level with you to be a long term keeper! On my IJ the mode-scoop locks fine, but in like 1 out of 3 releases, the ball just falls exactly SDTM!! ;) Is this normal?

  • @covercalls88
    @covercalls883 жыл бұрын

    Back in 2004, I bought my IJ for $1400, the playfield is a 9 out of 10, back glass 9 out of 10, cabinet art 5 out of 10 (faded). The only added protection I applied to the field was around the flipper area, other than that its clean and wax. As the knight said in the game , "You have chosen wisely.".

    @@krentzplaysprices really started to shoot through the roof around 2000. It's about then many of those in the baby boomer generation started collecting pinballs. I have 14 pinball machines in my collection, some are well known such as Twight Zone, Star Wars, No Fear, Jurassic Park, Space Shuttle, Tales from the Crypt, Demolition Man to name some.

    This kind of creativity in a pinball game, will we ever see that from Stern?

  • @SDTM

    @SDTM

    Johan Larsson great question. I don’t want to be a cynic, but I don’t think so. That’s not stern’s aim I don’t think. JJP is about as close as we are gonna get to BW creativity.

    Nice review, and good looking example of the game. Is there a reason you have Judge Dread Speaker grills on it instead of the beige Indy hat grills?
