G Gundam, Exkaiser, and a certain other Brave series share a composer. Herro's VA is Joe in Might Gaine. The future SEED director had worked on episodes of Exkaiser and Da Garn. Mu/Zechs/Gym VA was DagTurbo, 7-Changer, and Victim. And finally a certain King of Braves/railway Baron was a blonde racist jerk in SEED and a PTSD victim who is secretly a badass in UC Gundam. Everyone keeps calling the God Gundam _their_ Gundam. I know I'm two years late but you could've at least put Yzak in it since it's the same VA as Doumon. Yzak from CE71 has a different line compared to CE73. CE71 Yzak will begin chanting Domon's line and stop halfway through while CE73 Yzak will mention he is familiar with the school of the undeafeated of the east.

@@papersparrow899 Generally the character writing feels... incredibly stiff and unpleasantly abrasive, the Archangel's trip is very clearly a poor man's White Base exodus, and so so so much fuckin blatant plot armor in terms of Kira vs others, compounded by the plot just sucking up to him at all times SEED Destiny had potential, Shinn is cool, but Shinn's genuine understandable problems with Kira and Athrun get piledrived constantly to praise them, and the plot armor show doesn't end either Amazing mech designs when they aren't just stealing stuff from UC Gundam though *holds up the ZAKU and GOUF* Examples of theft *Holds up the BuCUE, BuCUE Kerberos and Gaia Gundam* Dope

@@syrelian Yyyyeah, Shinn was not considered having much potential -- he was kind of considered Kamille if he had no likable traits and was a complete moron. Not claiming Kira was any better at this point, there was a divide whether or not the swap to him being the lead was a good thing --- and from what it sounds like, it's mostly "Who should get bitch slapped more?"

@@RyutheWeredragon I mean sure, if you wanna be reductive to just "Gets angry a lot" and "Rehashes Four's plot arc but somehow slightly better"(which is wild for SEED Destiny but Zeta is not a good story to women) Shinn's potential was never as protagonist, but he had potential as a viewpoint character, he has a character arc, he grows and changes, for the worse as a person but he does and how he ends up in that space makes sense, its the most coherent writing SEED Destiny has tbh Meanwhile Kira has been The Good Boy his entire life and also The Best At Everything while having a holier-than-thou attitude the whole time and uhh, getting a cool new Gundam
