Scythe Legendary Box - How To Pack
Ойындар
FAQ:
Where are the Wind Gambit ship miniatures held?
They are in the blue box, in their original insert :) They can be seen around 4:21 in the video, underneath the Wind Gambit resolution tiles etc (which sit on top of the original Wind Gambit insert). There is some space underneath the insert where I hold the plastic stands in a baggie.

@@oviboochew6909 Weird question, but are you just using the plastic bags that came with the sets? You seem to have all the coloured wooden pieces separated into plastic bags of the same size, but I don’t have that many plastic bags that size that came with the sets. Granted, I only have the base game, Invaders From Afar and The Wind Gambit, so I don’t know if more bags are included with Rise of Fenris. I have some plastic bags left over, but they’re all different sizes and I wanted them to all be the same size for consistency’s sake. Did you order more plastic bags?
@oviboochew6909

@@elijahmeilak2906 no that's a good question. I can't recall exactly where the bags came from. I definitely did not order any separate bags, but I've got a stash of plastic bags from all sorts of games I've collected. Also, Fenris did include quite a few bags, so that well may be the source. And actually, there is one bag in there which is not the same size. The one holding the Togawa faction, I believe! haha

Thanks. It’s just ridiculous how expensive the box is and it doesn’t even come with a logical organization system. Rare miss from Stonemeier

Yes, I think the idea was they didn't want to push one organisation system onto players. But I think they've changed their mind with the Wingspan Nesting Box since that one has a much more set layout.
So coherently explained, thank you. You should make more videos.

Awesome mate! Very helpful. Just organised mine
Very, very useful !! Thank you so much 😊 👍👍👍
Life saver! Thank you!
I have it set up pretty well, but yeah I’m also having difficulty with the cardboard box bulging quite a lot, also the fenris expansion box for me is like literally bursting at the seams, I’m horrified to open it. Not sure what I did wrong but I had to hold it together as I was putting it away.
Thanks man, so useful.

Since i have my minis painted i didnt want to store the RoF minis unprotected in the box A. So instead i installed the base game characters and IfA on top of the RGB boxes and it left me just enough space for the box E and D in the place next to box A. It leave a 2cm gap in the lid but that way everything is protected.
This is so helpful! Thank you!

I would like like to see a little more detail in each box. I seem to be running out of space in the boxes. Primarily the cardboard item box.
@oviboochew6909

Thank you. The green cardboard item box is organised as follows: All player mats at the bottom. Faction mats on top of the player mats. In the space to the left/right created by the player mats, place two little plastic bags containing the encounter tokens & resource multipliers. On top of all this are four plastic bags side by side: Encounter cards, Factory/objective cards, Structure Bonus tiles, and the Combat cards. Finally, two power dials placed on top. Hope this helps! If you're still having trouble, I will try to get some photos of the layout :)
Sorry man another questions (I love so much your video) : are airships inside original plastic insert in the blue box? Thanks.
@oviboochew6909

Thank you :) Yes, the tuckboxes have the same internal dimensions as the original box for Wind Gambit, so the airships fits nicely in their original plastic insert!
I wonder if Expeditions would fit in here with just the Scythe base game.....

Hi Giacomo, thank you for the kind words. If you play Scythe often enough and need the storage solution to save on space, it is definitely a good choice. As you can see, it's not perfect and requires a bit of creative playing around to fit everything, but it cuts down on setup time having it all in one box. It is compatible with inserts, though I wanted to avoid spending more money on that :) Price can be a bit steep depending on your region, so it's also good to know what you're getting for the money: it is just the one big cardboard box with the 3 smaller tuckboxes (green, blue, red). At the end of the day, I'm happy I got the Legendary Box myself.

@@oviboochew6909 Do you store the air ships out of their original plastic holding tray? I can just barely squeeze the plastic holding tray into the tuck box, and it seems like it might wreck the box? Also, on another note, it might be worth mentioning that your packing solution assumes that cards are not sleeved?
@oviboochew6909
3 жыл бұрын
@@wetdigestive Thank you for the question and comments. Yes, the airships are still in their plastic holding tray. I found the tuckboxes had the same dimensions as the Wind Gambit expansion box, so it fit in nicely. There is something space underneath the tray itself for the plastic stands and other small items. It might take a bit of fiddling to get the tray in there (as the cardboard of the tuckboxes is thinner), but it looks designed for it :) Yes, that is true about the sleeves. All cards in my set are unsleeved. I have not looked at packing possibilities for sleeved cards, but I think it could be done :)
Those tuck boxes look very flimsy and don't appear to be well organized, components just stuffed in
@oviboochew6909

Hey Zortac, they're not too bad actually. So Blue Box is literally the insert from Wind Gambit, lifed as is. Green Box has the player & faction boards at the bottom, and then the cards side by side in ziplock bags. Red Box has the realistic resources in SM containers, and the metal coins tucked in a large ziplock along the side. Then the faction pieces (each in their own bag) tucked in the space around that. The Fenris box is a bit more haphazard, and I'm not sure if I'm quite happy with my current layout, but it's doing the job at the moment. Certainly, this method won't be for everyone, but I've wondered if it's worth doing an in-depth follow up on the tuckbox organisation.
