It's not really Halo doing it right but more so the other shooters just suck even worse competitively. Infinite ranked is still relativrly mediocre especially with desync still playing a role.

Been playing ranked solo Q pretty much daily since launch and never got higher than diamond, so bravo man, I always thought solo onyx was impossible.

Solo'ing Onyx isn't that tough man. Took me a full day. But, to be fair, I place at D5 always and get +15 CSR a win and -4 a loss.

He can easily go pro in this game especially if he plays scrims for few weeks he would match people’s play style that’s been playing since og days

It’s the ranked system. Your rank means virtually nothing in this game as the hidden mmr decides the matchmaking
