Definitely the fame points, but if you find a seat you can drive it without the alternator, it's the seat not letting you drive, but atleast you got in a good leg day workout

GDay Mr Feudal, you can still drive the car without the alternator, you just cant charge battery, buy 2 or 3 batteries and use the car to find an alternator. Love you vids.

The row in the scrap where the cars are stacked 4 high is where you will find what you needed

Unless one of the updates changed something you don't need an alternator as long as your vehicle has a charge in the battery. After the update before the current update I found a Rager at the Z2 gas station. I drove it around for quite a while until I got an alternator for it. With the changes the made a while back you still need the fame points even when using the lift at the mechanic. I haven't confirmed that one myself.

You could push the car in some bushes get a fishing rod and grind the fame points by fishing

You should go to wind turbines in zolo island. There is high chance of vehicle spawns there.

Alternator, found in garages, gas stations, vehicle bays like on the air field, the old factory, store houses like those found in Tisno or the naval yard docks. That is where I find them. vehicle bays like the ones found at the motor cross track as well. Yes your crazy. There was no front driver seat, and its that your fame points are not high enough. Had a fatal error message when leaving the game, came back and the truck was gone.

Yo mate - if it helps and I think on 2 x loot pool you will find it easy enough is in abandoned bunkers. Travel down to level 2 depository near Brennor and loot the room where you find memory modules, I’ve been farming intelligence on solo last 2 weeks as I get keycards and I have found over a handful in my time. Easy and takes 25 mins max with an easy clear in bunkers. Best advice, load yourself an N9 bayonet with an M16 and you’ll cruise through the bunker. Enjoy mate; love the content ❤️

You'd better search in garages and car workshops. You will find battery and alternator there.

Leika and ww alternators are also obtainable from airdrops. But rager alternator I have only found once somewhere. Can't remember where. If you park it uphill or nudge it uphill you can jump start it rolling downwards Since you found a genny you could also craft a medium or big recharge box and charge the battery you wanna use in the car until you found an alternator

Used to you could have a vehicle repaired on the lift and pay extra when you didn't have the fame points. That changed a while back. I agree it shouldn't have changed. I would have had to check the stack of cars in the center of the scrap yard again before I pushed the truck out. If that didn't work I'd check the rest up front. The loot should have respawned considering the time and distance you went from the scrap yard.

Aww, I was hoping to get some pointers on finding an alternator as well. I am in the same boat as you, but I drove my Rager without an alternator and upon reversing, the battery went flat. Then the engine stopped. I agree it does look like your purchase is fame point locked out.

You mentioned earlier about putting a lock on a vehicle and no one can move it, because it's locked. Can't you do the same with the truck and leave it in the green zone? Nevermind, I asked my question before you said the part about the 2 Hour time limit. Oh no. Poor Mr. F. I feel your pain. 😢

I mean for now , just store the car somewhere you can lock + lock the car , go kill things or players for fame points to get back and buy the dam alternator .
