You're so delusional boy. The phrase "darkest hour is just before the dawn" is a complete nonsense both literally and figuratively. The darkest hour literally is at solar midnight, which is the opposite of (surprise surprise) solar noon. It's just that temperature is usually the lowest, which is the proper methaphor here. So when something is at its darkest hour, it takes the most time to get to the high point, which is the noon. Respectively when the temperature is the lowest, it takes the most effort (energy) to get to the high point. Get schooled son.

The game is getting more and more unreal with the new updates and especially with the new zombie system and the hunting system. When I wrote this on the scum community page they banned my account for a week. They have started thinking they are gods and no one can tell how they feel about the game and they don't listen to the people who have played the game for 1300+ hours and more.

1.0 with mods ftw. I don't care if they abandon the game at that point. The community can handle it from there. Also, I'm much less eager to try early access games because of SCUM and a few others. Way more hype than reality.

It's funny that games whose teams are also small but don't waste time releasing cosmetic items and crappy paid DLCs are delivering much more in terms of content quality and bug fixes than those that charge you even for pink panties or paint for weapons. As I said in my previous comment, look at 7 Days to Die for example, man, the developer is to be congratulated, delivering new stuff all the time and being transparent and not even charging for the content, of course the proposal is different from SCUM in terms of gameplay but the principles should be the same

We want to play on the right server. Our server with our friends. And being able to host it without having to pay any server rental fees.

I stopped playing scum due to desynch issues long time ago i was a player from day 1 and all of the changes they have done in the past patches just moved away from the original idea. Im never going back to it, i hope you dont either. I discovered you in this game and im glad u have created this community. Keep playing what brings fun to you, we will follow.

This game was supposed to kill DayZ, and it absolutely should have. However, I think the devs forgot that they've been in early access for 6 years now. I bought this game the day it released, and I check back in on it from time to time. It just doesn't give me that immersive feeling that DayZ does, which is unfortunate.

Tomislav blocked me too a few weeks ago as well for the video I released talking about the current state of the game 😂😂 glad to know I am not the only one

I'm bored of this damn game and I've been with it for almost 3 years now, it has so many problems that I don't even understand if the developers are trying their own game because it's boring as shit, Game Is there anything else to play besides running, looting and basic building after 6 years? no gameplay, no gameplay loops, no deaths at all, an empty world to set up runners and loot. I've had enough, there are new games and it's time to put my trust in another one

I had a PvP fight with two of my friends against one guy. Our friend got killed from afar, and we were waiting for the guy to get greedy and go for the loot. Out of nowhere, my friend starts shooting and ends up getting killed. I didn't see anyone as I peeked from the corner. The guy just teleported in front of me and then disappeared again. I started shooting and hit him 2-3 times before getting gunned down myself. I couldn't save my teammate because of the desync, and the guy kept disappearing on my screen. I wasn't even playing on a high-ping server; I had around 30 ping.

"World class reputation and ethos that matches us". LOL On a note to you casual wardog: make some deep dives into the company. Linkedin, read the PR statements etc and look at the numbers. That would be fun to see. But having said that: I am overall content with what they have done. But they sure have changed to the worse in many ways. 3 M players. The fact that they havnt earned more trust and money from that base is another sign of weak leadership.

Thats exactly why i moved to real life survival. scum was fun, cant say it wasnt worth my time, but right now i just cannot afford it my brother. All i can do, is to watch your videos from time to time... Glad that this wont change. Stay strong, stay healthy, drink water, eat well. After all, this is more important than promising survival game :) Please dont feel enraged about some idiot that blocked you, you are way too chill for that bro

Hey Wardog, I totaly 100% agree, I dont think they should of added traders, this is not a survival game when you can walk for 10mins to buy anything you need, Scum was SOOOOO much better when there were NO traders. I also agree on all your points.

@@Evermore098 its the way they did the traders in general. and the ATM system/ banking - and changed the way Fame works and then adding the gold shit in there. and the trader outposts are just lifeless NPC's like it feels Alpha ! will just see what they do to negate the issues at hand , i know we have all been waiting for more polish and proper changes to the game. scum needs 2 more years of development TBH

As I said million times, they were looking at dayz's most popular servers and tried to implement mechanics into their own game. Without any thought process, and if it's going to break the game or not.. At that time it happened to be servers with traders and ATMs which literally destroy the whole "survival aspect" and are just base building PvP in dayz (absolute garbage servers and majority stopped playing them)... but it's even worse in scum cos 98% of playerbase don't want to PvP ( and you basically can't cos the game is broken)... They were trying to make "tHe MoST hArDcOrE SurViVaL gAmE" and ended up with the most diluted shit I've ever seen.. lack of braincells at gamepires..

metabolism needs a lot of new injuries and whatnot, the last addition we got was burns and those were too niche to even notice. where's the sprained ankle, the fucked up achiles heel, the shot out kneecaps? where's the bruised ribs and broken arms? where's our viruses and diseases? we got trench foot and radiation and thats about it apart from "bleeding injuries". i miss when scum felt BRUTAL. when you had to trek all over just to likely get destroyed by a mech or swarmed by zombies you failed to sneak by. now it just feels like kindergartener happy hour or sum

The game changed a lot with the implementation of the bases and houses, now with farms and so on; It seems like they want to copy Minecraft in that aspect

What are you talking about? I think first priority should be new guns no one ever heard about like the .345 and the 0.88 first, second comes new design for older guns, white M16, gray M16, that is way more important, finally destroying another perfectly working game mechanic such as hunting, remove animals, then address something no one ever complained about such as performance, remove dead zombies after 30 seconds, remove other zombies till you get 10 meters close to a building... Basically play single player online.

What are YOU talking about? Gray m16? White m16? Cant you use spray paints for that? Also the game has a LOT of guns already, we dont need two more shitty calibers just because one guy asks for it. I love SCUM, but it is doomed. I also hate the new hunting system and the puppet spawn system, but it is true that performance is shit, so thats another thing you're wrong about, people DO complain about performance, not client performance like more FPS but server performance, its so laggy, so easy to trade kill with other players. I dont know what to ask the devs to do honestly because as a game developer I dont see any good options than just starting from scratch and doing a better base code since thats the cause for all the problems the game has. But they're not doing that. And one more thing I'd like to say, there is a reason on why big and succesful companies dont make this kind of games, this is a huge game, i mean it is really hard to make, bugs are everywhere, and performance problems are always a problem with these. Think about it, persistent huge world, nice graphics and awesome mechanics. It's not hard to synchronize all of that in a server for 60+ players.

I can't agree more with you. I've been following the game from 1 year before the early access launch. I bought the game the first day it come to steam and in the next years I made more than 10 friends buy the game because all of us love survival games but after 2021-2022 only 1 friend keep playing with me and since 2023 neither him or me play scum anymore. I play after a patch to test the new stuff and see if the performance is better but I lost 80% interest in the game since the main focus was PVP, Base grinding/farming and the worst of all: money and sellers. Having the option to pay X money for every item in the game just kills the survival aspect and the reward of serch. Want a big gun? just farm shit items for 30 minutes in a secure zone, sell all of them and buy the gun.

I generally agree with you. There's still things to enjoy about the game but I also feel like the game has been on a decline since after 0.6. They have a lot of work and I personally don't know if I believe they'll ever deliver. I'm still playing right now but I'm getting burnt out again.

All of the systems are so deep and interesting that it made the game go mostly PVE. PVE players never want to risk what they have collected/built up etc. They want to play house and they avoid PVP if there is any loss. I think this has made the devs cater to that mindset (pink underwear pretty much proves that.). Modded Community DayZ servers is where it's at imo. You just have to be ok with sacrificing some of the cool systems in SCUM.. but.. those systems are what pushed SCUM PVE in the first place.

@@casual.wardog Ya the spawns are for PVE but they go against the way PVE players want to play a PVE game. If I clear out an area that area should be clear. lol. crazy that they can't get that right when so many games have. and the spawn distance for sniping doesnt make sense either.. but these are all struggles that devs have with PVE games.

Scum isn't a survival game, it's a Day Z PvP clone. I bought it because of the description - “SCUM is a next generation, story driven survival game featuring extremely complex game mechanics and unrevealed survival features. Gamepires is an experienced team oriented towards innovation and perfection in game production and have decided to develop SCUM side by side in collaboration with its community with the goal of making the best possible survival game yet.” If Scum is a survival game, then so is Rust... Also, "story driven" was a huge reason I parted with my cash. It suggests that we would have something to do in single player, but in reality single player is essentially a sandbox version of PvP. All I ever did was roam around, find a car, build some stuff then log off because it was so painfully boring.

I want the old method of respawning without the silly airdrop each time, also get rid of the choices make it all random and eliminate the need for fame points or cash to respawn. I absolutely hate the horde spawning and how puppets spawn in general.

I've been discussing this already but A LOT of small things were not going in the right direction with this game and I stopped playing EVEN BEFORE the puppet spawn thing which was just a step further in the wrong direction... The building was taking ages as a low group\solo for it to be raided in 1 hour. The amount of people not even bothering with the base is more than an indicator. In which survival game building a base is a DETRIMENT to the gameplay? This was while hearing say that they would never add raid protection initially which they finalyy are trying to do in a patch right before release because no raid protection is and will always be trash! This and the small little bolts, nails, feather, ... that are not stackable at more than 20 and this is IF you have the box for it! While a simple base requires hundreds of them! Same goes for scrap metal, non stackable???? Really? They introduced a crafting system to make a stack of rags, instead of just focusing on simply stacjking the rags themselves and focusing on other aspect of the game. This and the whole lock system that was a whole chore and a matter of luck to find enough screwdrivers in a limited playing time. Everything was grindy at best and a chore in this game, which is a shame because the initial gameplay is pretty good. But so many things going wrong and done wrong! Everytime you loot something you are "meh, again a weapon with no magazine or ammo that i'm not excited to find" and therefore everything was relying on the merchants! Nothing you found in the world was usable as is but had the sole purpose to be trade.... A real real shame that the devs were so stubborn and deaf to the community. To an extent they are more ridiculous than anytrhing else.

I'm with you brother. I have about 3500 hours in SCUM, I love it, but also starting to hate it. The priorities are way off. It has so much potential to be a great game. They need to stick to the root of the game which is survival/open world/pve/pvp. If I am gonna play Battle Royale or just want PVP I will go play CoD or PubG.

yeah also, like they do a update and some old bugs come again, and now you need 2 lockpics to open anything or what, so confused about that. And like you said, looks like a survival, but you can ignore absolutly all metabolism BS and just eat and drink, no point in cooking cool things and just "craft" a Water well with some sticks.

I think they will (eventualy) add a hardcore mode with all the hand washing and water boiling stuff.

Everything you said is true and it's what i said in forums. I was riddiculed. I went from '' buy this game it's amazing'' to '' ''skip it or wait for release''. I also bought it when it released EA and started playing intensively at 2020 and built up a community (not streaming, server community) and it all went to shit with new spawn mechanic. That only! We went trough all changes, mechnics like weapon jam etc. pulled out of game, vehicles torn out, bb nerfs, broken updates andv patches, terrible hunting system rework and more... Nothing ever broke the game like the new puppet spawn. It was almost instant. Server empty and players not playing the game, not the server. I can fight ( change) the bad settings but i cant make my players play a broken game. I am utterly sad to see this game go to shit, i'm not ranting. I'm genuinly sad. P.S. type the command #destroyallzombiesinradius 100 (or any other distance or greater) over and over again and you'll see what i'm talking about for spawns. Cheers CW and good riddance with Scum, Dayz is outdated but more enjoyable and better for creative content creators like Nezar and yourself. '

Unfortunately devs are more focusing ond paid dlc’s :/ and I don’t mean supporting pack because I can understand those but why the hell are they making skins for weapons, charms, skins for cars, Danny Trejo etc when the game is not fully released like come on finish the game and then release those dlc. There is so much potential in this game but I’m just getting the filling that devs just don’t care about it. Look how long they are making police suv or just a normal suv to come back to the game. Same story is with motor or the other airplane, tractor etc I think it’s over a year now when those stuff is gone :/

I personally think one main reason is that most of the devs left the company long time ago and they only have a small devision of junior devs or 3d artists left. I mean just check the history of the development. Originally the game was published by devolver digital and the devs had the support of the serious sam developers (croteam). For a while now the game is published by Jagged Ltd (Runescape) and even though there is no official announcement I would not wonder if croteam does not support the dev team anymore. I guess the devs are not capable to handle this project since then.

I might be dumb but i am pretty sure i died to ignore the food and water intake, few years ago, as i was trying that out. They took that out? o.O

I left discord at beginning of the year in result of my addressed constructive feedback. Moreover their gatekeepers called themselves moderators, warned me towards a permanent ban. Profound issues you’re mentioning has been discussed several times, consequently more intense debates after 0.95. All the efforts explicit been „muted”. Furthermore me and two other friends ended journey with the game. Despite, developers promises, theirs behavior has no place in our comprehension. „GAME DED”

the thing I see being wrong with the mission system is the ideal you get a mission in d0 and a mission is z1 just after, even if it more fair and your just traveling 3 zones over that's a ton of waddling esp on an active server with max vehicle reached. as for gun npcs I look forward to them but i can see if they deal actual damage players will complain greatly till they are nerf into dumb mode ai. Just look at how mechs are viewed which should be a fun mechanic to pratice stealth or use big boom to take out just being outright removed on most servers.

yep you tell it like it is brother, we see your passion for survival games and thats why a lot of us are here. i share that passion brother! i may sound like an asshole sometimes but i just care about the game. i too was a every day scum player since 2020 but ever since 0.95 the game is dying due to bad development decisions. we are this close to 1.0 and like you said we are still missing core mechanics like breaking limbs, getting sick from drinking random water and much much more. i feel you on the game not actually feeling like a survival game, struggling for loot, starving to death etc. its honestly why im just playing hardcore dayz right now because its giving me that feeling again. i want to play scum, i really do, im actually dying to play but its just not great right now. about time someone bring up the horrid spawning system too, they wonder why there is no interaction in the game this is one of the main culprits. i know it for a fact.

When i criticised the game on their official channel,about some problem's and told that the people will be playing about month or two and then gonna quit,i was being attacked from some blind people,who don't see,where the game is heading,i ma from Croatia,and really frustrated how thing's are going in the last year and a half,and what they say,it's early access,no you can not say anytime when you make mistake,it's an early acces,because you are going year and half only down with your decisions,and don't listen to your real community,it's understandable when you make mistake,and repair that shit,or even do rollback of the game,but no,they don't do it,as if they know everythink,they have too much pride,and they are offended when somebody says something is wrong in the game,also im gonna say it here again,they should be ashamed about not having balkanic channel's on their official discord,they all come from here,and still nothing for balkan players,this is really not ok from them,do they even know how much people from balkan supported them??and many people come and say,i want to support them by buying support pack's and everything,and still,those people don't get even thanks from them with some channels,where they can better understand how to play the game,i know many odler people who play the game,and don't understand english,and they don't get any help,at least they could also look on balkanic community as a thank's for their big support,sorry for writing all of this here,but the voice need's to be heard,and Your channel is one of those where it can be heard :D

You know there was this simple and beautiful thing when i was younger back in 2012/2013 called Arma 2 DayZ mod VANILLA NOT EPOCH AND TRADER SHIT, it was the BEST, the king of the genre, theres never been a game like that, and to be honest i think that there is not going to be one either. If they ever used their brain they would've made a PUBG clone but similar to dayz arma 2 mod. That would've been the definitive survival game. Pubg's cars, player animations, graphics, gunplay and pretty much everything on it is awesome, if that worked in a persistent map it would've been the best in the market, but well whatever

I agree with many things but not all. I also believe that puppets are horrible and move in a horrible way, they don't break down doors, they should do so at least if they aren't barricaded. In my opinion they shouldn't run, I think of a system like Project Zomboid, where there are many of them but they don't necessarily all run, I'd like to see them come out of cars or manholes. I would also like to see timed events such as a convoy of perhaps 3 cars going from point A to point B and if you manage to kill the driver and the occupants of the car, all obviously NPC bots, you can take the car and the its content. Sry for my bad eng languages i got help from Google trad.

Valid criticism is needed for games.

I played on hardcore servers almost exclusively for a year before I stopped playing, forced 1st person, no map very low loot harder PVE elements across the board, it's a type of gameplay that isn't for everyone but it definitely helps to forge you into a better player but is still far from real survival. After a few weeks, or a few months tops you can be at a very luxurious point even with raised difficulty.. Before the imposipuppet update that is. I recently reinstalled the game to play on the server you mentioned where Raykit was playing and I lasted all of 7 or 8 hours, after dying to pupppet which teleported directly infront of me, and then to one that came from seemingly nowhere in a bunker. The system they introduced for the puppets is still a joke and severely full of bugs, let alone all the things you mentioned with cosmetics and useless items that are generating them revenue now their Jagex overlords need results. I won't be wasting the precious space on my SSD to reinstall this until I see a marked improvement in the puppet system. I racked up 3500 hours myself and owned the game since only May 2022 and in that time I've seen it rise and fall in epic proportions the devs need to do better period.

This game could've been amazing but they are too slow and adding too little. Working 6-8 months for a broken puppet spawning system and the same for the hunting minigame which both of these by the way, made the game having the worst immersion in all survival games. GG

I dont disagree with anything you've said. I was really bummed when they removed the system with "poor quality guns/ammo" could jam in the weapon etc. That was one big "omg, yes!"-system that I really liked when I started playing. Also, as you said, a way to make fresh water when you're close to the ocean. Its not possible to play on PvE (let alone PvP) servers, have a base near the ocean and have enough water to water your plants. Just a way to gather salt water, have it evaporate to make fresh water and salt. It should be there. And if we take animals for example. The sound from them is clearly not where the animal really is. Why not? Its dumb AF to go to the sound, just to have it be somewhere else entirely. I want more of the survival elements. Really do. SCUM made me like survival games, and it is a great game, but its kind of going the wrong way.

alhtough i completely agree with you and server hop probably just as much as you haha, i do have to say server settings can make things a lot harder... play on a 0.1 loot server and see how you survive, getting a weapon is rare and gameplay is slow but the adrenaline rush of combat can't be beat. Antibiotics are non existent, food is hard to find, etc. Dev's for the game just keep giving the community "easy" mode, traders, removing weapon jams, etc. The game should be hard

I stopped playing when 0.9 update came out. I got tired of the small content updates truck armor and adding one gun. I don't care about the camo paid DLC or new hairstyles. I want more survival updates. The difference biomes should be better. There's parts of the map I haven't seen cause what's the point if its just the same loot run everywhere else. Mechs are bugged, server stability is bad on high count servers. Its just too many issues that i know aren't gonna be fixed on 1.0

I'm sorry man, I totally agree on whole missing systems thing, but right now we are in a bad spot because of the changes they made to the old systems. Puppet spawns need to change drastically, loot needs to be found ONLY in certain spots (there's no reason to travel the map when everything can be found anywhere), Movement physics are absolutely terrible for this stage of the game (jumping from 1 roof to another across an entire road is just fucked, puppet movement is janky and awkward), the building mechanics although immersive, are far too time consuming, Metabolism system was a joke (should've been boiling river water, washing hands etc. like you mentioned). The fact that I don't need any weapon other than the #25 bow is ridiculous, there needs to be a sense of progression and it simply doesn't exist in scum. I hate that I can go from fresh spawn to fully geared in an hour simply because the bow will carry me through all of the 50 high tier loot locations in the game.... why do even have the towns? I feel like they are adding all these weird and outlandish things to a game that I really thought was going for immersion and realism based off of the trailer showing the sniper taking out the two guys trying to repair their vehicle. Honestly, I don't know if I've enjoyed any changes made after the .5 update to clouds and shit. It has just not been the same.

From the first day I started playing SCUM, I always found it to be a bit of an oddity. It seemed to want to blend longform survival/RPG mechanics with multiplayer pvp, and those two just didn't seem particularly compatible to me. To this day, I still don't really know what the devs want SCUM to be. A part of me thinks they also don't know anymore. One thought I have--you might want to check out Mr. Wolf's roleplay server. It's mostly pve zones, but it does have some full pvp sectors, as well as a dedicated black market (pvp) trader (C2). They also occasionally run pvp-dedicated events, often manhunt types. I think they were planning some base raid events too, where a squad or two agrees to be the cartel and the rest of the server has to try to raid their base.

Man this game had so much potential in the start. Pure survival, which made it stand out! As you implied, looks like they want to go with "popular" stuff, adding all this useless content. It's becomming more like fortnite in a way almost lol. My suggestions would be.. game needs a unreal engine 5 update. Nanite, lumen, removing pop-ins etc. And then just fix the basic stuff ffs! Vehicle physics? Maybe improve melee combat? It looks so sluggish! The game has great potential still but it doesn't need more any content right now, just polish!

I thought I was being bit of bitch about things when it comes to scum, but am glad I see the same reaction from other fans o the game here. 2-3yrs ago before the traders this game was epic and the balance was just right. sure bugs etc but I can deal with all that. last 3 updates have been pretty shit and not really doing much but making it worst. Am done with it now, I'll come back when the mods are out and I can find a server with no traders and no bots. Coz lets face it, without the shit bot servers this game would have died already.

They had a good start and a good journey but since 2024 they are making to much Spaghetti in their game code. Too much useless stuff the game don’t need and stuff that really needs a overhaul rework are left in the shadow. Wrong priorities wrong decisions that’s meanwhile standard just look at Ubisoft and it’s self destruction ✌🏻👊🏻👍🏻👋🏻

Wait, tomislav blocked you? wow thats also a way to deal with critic on a game (good and bad) Also the reason why they dont care about survival aspects is because most streamers that still support the game are playing mostly pvp only. so the focus is more on pvp and server stability then anything else.Since jagex bought gamepires it looks the soul of the game has left.Multiple times i mentioned toward all people, please focus on singleplayer and see what needs to be fixed and or added there.Nope only server testing and pvp aspects are being worked on as it seems.If resources are problem for the devs , why not hire more devs because you have more money now jagex bought it right? My hounest thoughts? i think the game will be left dead after 1.0 One more thing mentioned in your video, if a survival game is depended on pvp and other people, its not a survival game.

I personally think one main reason is that most of the devs left the company long time ago and they only have a small devision of junior devs or 3d artists left. I mean just check the history of the development. Originally the game was published by devolver digital and the devs had the support of the serious sam developers (croteam). For a while now the game is published by Jagged Ltd (Runescape) and even though there is no official announcement I would not wonder if croteam does not support the dev team anymore. I guess the devs are not capable to handle this project since then. Since then most update you see went to the worse or where just stuff that has been taken out of the game and reimplemented with some simple changes. The game does not feel like there is more than one guy actually working on the game systems anymore and making tweaks to it.

If only you knew how right you are but in reality things are much worse than anyone can imagine , the game was coded by Jesus "one of the main coders" until he quit and since then you have them scrambling to recode everything that why the game went to shit after 0,4 lock n load update , wanna know how bad stuff is just remember the sleds case and how they cant add them again or maybe ask about the birds lol and why they HAD to remove the birds

yeah dude.. as far as I've heard, half of the already small team left a year prior to Jagex, and wanted to create a new studio and wanted to make a new game.. things were falling apart in that studio from the get go but they kept it under wraps.... so much of their "transparency".. As you mentioned Devolver dropping them was also super weird and they provided the dumbest excuse why it happened. Basically "She didn't break up with me, I broke up with her" talk.. .. Im not sure if Jagex brought new workforce since they are in charge of studio management now...

I've bought Scam in 2018 because it said "survival single-player". Six years later I can say they failed to deliver both. Multiplayer part is just Battle royale where numbers come first, skills and gear later. People mostly raid offline bases or run butt naked to get pew-pew thingy. In SP you don't need guns, killboxes, base building, bulletproof armor, armor-piercing rounds, C4, walls, gates, traps, mines, credit cards, armored vehicles or brawling mechanics which they removed anyway. Metabolism is a bunch of numbers noone cares about. Wound system is terrible. Project Zomboid does both way better for a decade now. Inventory UI is just bad. Melee is broken. Things go poof on restart even in SP. You can say it will get better, but its on straight rails and its going down the hill to 1.0 and it doesn't look pretty.

Sick rant dude. 10/10 would watch again! xd Skewed priorities, that's all I can say

I'm so done with this game. Rampant cheaters (80% of this problem could be fixed with region locks since the majority are from Asian countries), little to do in PVE, borked horde system, bugs out the ass, not enough people playing to make servers enjoyable. Which wouldn't matter anyway, because as soon as you find one, you're met with cheaters. They've gone a terrible direction with this game.

Hey man. This is me right now, I do not play the game, I only test it from time to time after 1.5K hrs I have in it. Use to be fun but after 0.5 become a disappointing game after each update. The game is almost at 1.0 and still is far from DayZ as base survivor hardcore game or other survival games out there. But i am afraid since they got bought by Jagex, the game will only be a DLC fest to make money for Jagex, and nothing more. I am glad i stop playing the game at the right time and moved on playing others games (with good content). My biggest problem with Scum is and will be the lack of content for PVE solo players. The map is huge, you have nothing to do just walk from point A to point B at this point. Just a empty sandbox game.

Casual you and couple of other biggest scum streamers need to know that your opinion is not always the opinion of community. I dont eant boiling water and waiting for 15 minutes while looking at fire for water to be good etc. I am for option to use as many different features on servers that can be turned on and off so all can play servers they wanna but some features will make the games more boring like needing weeks to assemble one vehicle and it gets stolen next day.

I think the biggest problem with the game is what the player himself expects from it, I dont get the metabolic system, sure its very clever but does anyone take any notice of it, I sure as hell don't run around saying to myself Oh I need carbs today!!! I agree with the pink knickers part there could be better survival things to find, But I am probably looking for different things to you in the game, am I right or are you right x that by 5,000 and its a non winnable contest. they have to make me WANT to play it again which at the moment I don't want to invest that much time into it for a new update and everything is gone, base money etc, traders should be more frequent but smaller ie: a costal town would have a fishing shop, a fuel station a mechanic a general store here & there would be hard to camp say 30 of them instead of 4 where you struggle to take much to them, you want fishing stuff why you need to travel miles for it as a solo its just a grind for me atm that I just cant be arsed with. will it turn out to be the game I want, proably not, will it be the game you want it to be, probably not who knows where its going, I will watch from afar for now and see where it goes and not waste good gaming time struggling on with it.

@@casual.wardog if you do end up trying it, Not sure where you're playing from, but try first Spaggies's servers or dayz ZERO. They are vanilla servers with active admins so they watch out for hackers. Since the basic Vanilla game flow is great and has the best survival feel to it imo. Also basic namalsk servers.. you can always spice it up later on with more modded servers ( DayOne servers are great because of Vanilla feel and some extra features : extra scopes, few clothing items , and those ones are super popular among streamers)

i was playing scum some time ago as i really love survivals but surviving in scum is not a challange at all. In my opinion as i already tried dayz it has much better suvival feeling than scum. Scum developers apprently are blind for what is feedback from community as i havent seen one good opinion rgarding what they are implementing in last months and they seem not recognize nobody wants game as they see it. I cant believe they try their own game and feel okay with whats there.

I have a little story about the devs that made me quit Scum years ago. I player in an official server, and there was this well known player. This player was well know for abusing glitches, bugs, exploits and using cheats. And he was really well liked by the devs for some reason. There were episodes were he actually seemed to have acess to turning on and off the server itself. Like this one night, when another cheater was harassing him, he was like “I’ll keep taking the server down while you keep doing it”, and every time he said that, the server went down. My squad had a beef with him and his cheat abusing squad, and I started to contact the devs in discord about it, and they kept replying stuff like “he’s really a nice player, and he helps us a lot reporting stuff” So, it came to my knowledge that the devs actually had “pet cheaters”, players that abused a lot of stuff, but they ignored them because they reported some of those to them. I quit after that, knowing the devs are not profissional at all in their work ethics. They hide behind this “we don’t give a fuck mask”, making jokes about players PCs being trash as excuses to bad optimization and desync, but they are just full of themselves and ruined the potential of this game.

@@casual.wardog eventually, some friend that kept playing told me he got banned, to try and convince me to play again, and supposedly, he and the devs didn’t agree in some stuff, and well, we know what the devs do when you don’t agree… If he wasn’t Brazilian, some could actually suspect it was a dev haha The devs really gave the keys of an official server to a player, until, that player didn’t agree with them, and that’s why I’ll never play this game again.

For me it was the exhaustion it's way to fast and is hard to cure.

So I assume tomislav doesn't like constructive criticism yet alone criticism. Nothing is perfect not sure why he can't just take the criticism and move along. Kind of reminds me of that fallout new vegas community mod that failed called the frontier where the devs of it were basically witch-hunting criticizers of the mod except in this case without the witch hunt.
