May i ask what are the tools you are using
I went to art school and was a professional artist back in the day before there were such an abundance of great tutorials. Every method was hard won. Finding good quality information was a chore. I hope people appreciate how lucky they are having a useful resource like this video at their fingertips. Excellent video.

I for one do. Everything I've learned on this topic is from youtube. Also, my career is based on what I learned on the internet and I am happily employed for 12yrs now with what I learned on the internet. I took my colleague degree 7yrs after already practicing (unrelated to sculpting) so I acknowledge the power of information.

And the lack of tools and different mediums, mould making, let alone how to do it. And the expense! My mother was a magnificent self taught artist in every media and she passed away 10 yrs ago, I see what she did with limited knowledge and wish she had the opportunity to make use of the limitless possibilities we have today ❣

Ikr ! Im the first generation growing up with this stuff and i feel so lucky to have such great helpful guides to help me . Like for instance I could learn a langauge if i wanted to just by downloading an app for free! We are so lucky !
Fantastic. Not only for sculptors, this video is also very helpful for artists learning about the structure of the human head.
I am a sculptor and former maker of sculpting tools. Even though I myself find it impossible to do, I totally admire artists like yourself who can do SO VERY MUCH with only one or two simple tools! Bravo Stecca!!

Somewhere I heard "it's not about how many strings you have, it's what you do with them", and it's true, better materials can make it look better, but materials don't come with creativity or talent included

This video led me back to clay sculpturing again. My thanks to you.
That’s a terrific system for determining angles and facets. Never seen one quite as useful before. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skill.
Just an amazing tutorial. I have just gone from never sculpting anything, to sculpting an damn good head. Mad props to you.
This is exactly what I wanted to learn. Thank you for the detailed, concise video- I will make good use of it. I even have the manicure tool that you used.
I love making mini heads like this, however my mother wasn’t so fond of all the mini head sculptures I left everywhere 🤣 art student here, and this face plane technique is what we learned at AAU! Love
Que técnica incrível! Obrigado por compartilhar! ✌🏼💙💙
Thank you, this is good for drawings, new horizons for perspective and deepening
Sculpting heads is my biggest struggle. Thank you so much for posting a video of how you sculpt faces! So helpful for newcomers like me 💕
I have very minimal sculpting and clay experience and had the sudden urge to make something like this. Turned out absolutely amazing thanks to this video, thank you so much!
In case anyone was wondering: The tool being used appears to be from a low cost nail manicure set.

I’m definitely implementing this technique to my next sculpture. Very clever
Wow ,by the end of the video I felt like it was real .....Bravo..!😊
Best tutorial I've seen yet. I learned so much from this. Thank you 💓
I’ve always had trouble with faces so I dread it when I have to do them but now after watching this video a couple times and following it I’m confident in my heads this really helped great video
I love your clear close- up style of demo and pausing for us to see each resulting action. I'm looking forward to trying this
This was amazing to watch -- a round lump of clay becoming a human head and nothing more, it's hard to explain the feeling. I am finally encouraged in my own work and have now seen that I can sculpt an accurate face out of Monster clay! Thank you so much!

in the past i dabbled in sculpting but it always turned out too cartoony , this tutorial has shown me where i'm going wrong ,thank you ,absolutly stunning work
This video is by far the best I've encountered! With no words attached, with every move he makes you can learn something different ( for a beginner like myself) If I can just master this technique w/o watching this video over and over, i'll become a master myself!
You're a head above the rest !!! 😉🤣 Great job bro !!! 🤠🥳👍🏅🥇

Eccellente!
Wow.... by the end of this video, I'm waiting for the final sculptured head to gain sentience! You're incredibly skillful.
So very clear and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing!😅

This was cool very good tutorial i watched first and attempted while following along and it came out much better than what my mind sees although without reference I was pretty close but with this when I walked away and looked back I was like woah that looks like a real person lol

Obra de arte en miniatura.❤

That mini metal ruler is very handy...looked for something similar at Amazon but the smallest one they carry is 15 cm. long and has a cork backing...
This is brilliant! Thank you very much!!

Muito bom! VEry good!
A very informative tutorial on how to build features from a basic head structure. It takes a lot of the mystique out of clay modelling and encourages even novices to have a go at it. Thanks for sharing.

Measurements- focus- patience- dedication- mastery talent- skill- perfection- master piece. This video shows how perfect is the human creation. It took so much concentration to create just the human head. Who says you're not beautiful? Look at yourself how perfectly you're created. Your parents are really beautiful. ❤ Thanking you Sir, for this wonderful video through this you've already inspired many.😍😇🙏☮️❤ Every single details are provided. You have tremendous knowledge of face geometry. Almost every sharp details you carved very well. 👍👍👍
This guy definitely works to rule. Video paced just right. Precision marking to retain symmetry. Precise slicing to create the planes of the head. Pauses to comprehensively display progress..When my Living Doll Sculpey clay arrives this is the vid I will follow. I hit like and subscribed after watching less than half of this vid..Will comment further

Once you have the refined head it's amazing how quickly it could be transformed into another sex or person. Important to keep focused on the final character.
