SCULPTING AND MAKING SLIMER PART 2 (HIS TEETH)

Ойын-сауық

PART 2 OF HOW I MADE A FULL SIZE GHOSTBUSTERS SLIMER SCULPTURE AND SOON TO BE COSTUME LIKE THE ORIGINAL 1984 SLIMER.
Learn as I explain every step from sculpting to molding and casting. My vids are made for people who want to know and learn special effects for films.
I have worked as a special effects artist for over 25 years. I'm pretty sure you have seen something I have made for film or tv by now. From my days sculpting for films or may day as an animatronics expert and SAG puppeteer to all of the props and set pieces I've built, I'm sure you must have seen my work. you can check out my credits from my company link below for TECH WORKS STUDIOS.
These videos I'm making are for the DIY group to the people who want to know how and why we in the fx industry do the things we do. All of my videos have lots of info buried throughout. Some of these videos are pretty straight forward, "learn how to make a 2 part silicone mold " but some like these for Slimer follow the process from start to finish and even though they are focused on making Slimer or whatever, they are a real time practical example of how we do things for the film industry and lots of tips and points come out as I'm working so you get the real point as I'm literally doing it.
Along with owning a working special effects company in the film industry , I did teach at my own school I had for over a decade called "Learn FX" where we did one or two classes a year with 4-6 people to teach them to be useful and start their career in the effects industry. It wasn't easy teaching for weeks in a working studio but we did it so we could get more people into the industry. I even taught at Tulane University's film dept for a while.
My point is that I do this professionally and these videos are a great way to learn useful information on what we do in the fx industry and have some fun while we do.
Slimer is such a great character I had to make one. But it had to be from the original 1984 ghostbusters and be as close as possible to Steve Johnson's original sculpt. He gave me another thumbs up the other day when he saw this. He also was loving this when I started it a few years back when I showed him which is a great compliment from an amazing artist.
