I play around 15 hours a week on average and it had drift around the six month mark even after setting dead zones. I sent it out for repair now in over a year and the other stick started drifting this time I fixed that with learning how to solder. It’s great when it works learning how to repair it yourself is priceless.

I have the Scuf Instinct Pro and I love, I've only had it for about a month though.

You def need to get your hands on a battle beaver, those controllers are blowing up right now and reviews for them are sorely needed. It'd also be cool to see you test your controllers across multiple games so we can see how the button presses and other features hold up! I hope your channel keeps growing because your reviews are stellar and cover a lot of the ground needed :) *Also before I forget, controller vs controller videos seem to do really well, I'd definitely recommend putting as many of those out as you can if you're looking to grow quickly. A lot of custom controller buyers are stuck between options so having vs videos and seeing what you suggest buying is super helpful.

Ive had no issues out of mine and ive had it a year. I run 5s on my deadzones

I wish I could say the same thing for my xbox default controllers, after getting my Series X the controller that came with my Series X I got a double clicking "A" button within 1 week

I'm thinking about buying this, I've been through two Xbox elite controllers and they broke or the buttons would stick, main problem with the elite controller was the buttons would stick it would annoy the hell out of me! So now I'm looking at this scuf controller trying to make a decision!

Aww man , yeah I’ve heard about the sticking buttons on the Elite. I love my SCUF , don’t get me wrong they are pricey and do have problems of their own but still my go to controller. If you’re looking to compare it against something a little cheaper , I’ve got a few videos on the Victrix Gambit you might wanna check out . Thanks for commenting !

My controller only worked for 6 months and started getting stick drift and for some reason any button that I press it will spam by itself like it had turbo . Controller feels nice on the has but not reliable . I will only recommend this controller to people that have the money to buy 2 of them a year if it breaks down on you if not I’ll suggest the elite 2 because it will cost the same with warranty that covers a year or 2

@@samw2431 I fully agree with you but we have to be honest with everyone because not a lot of people have the money to spend in 2 scuf controller in a year also keep in mind kids ask for this stuff and when you’re controller stops working properly they have to wait a year or more to get another one and with the elite controller with 2 warranty years of warranty will be the same price of a scuf controller. I just see what good for the wallet and if you have money to spend I’ll say go for a scuf and hopefully it doesn’t break in 6 months

Nice video, but stick drift happens with any brand, not just Scuf, it has happened to my Razer and my Elite controller.

Yeah it’s unfortunate that this is generally the case. Hopefully once Hall effect sticks are widely used this problem will be ( mostly ) solved. Thanks for the comment ! Appreciate it.

Try the gamesir g7 se. It have hall effect analog stick, that will causes no stick drift. Plus it have two extra back button

@@lordinvincible2622 hey ! I’ve got the regular G7 otherwise I would have already picked up the SE. I’ve heard very good things about it . GAMESIR have a new controller out called the cyclone that also has Hall effect sticks. Might have a look at that . Thanks for the comment !

@@Gavlaaar88i have the G7 SE, best controller i have used (incredibly low deadzone and the 0.5% circularity is unbeatable). It currently runs at 250hz, but is meant to go up to 1000hz soon, lowering response from 4ms-1ms. I plan on getting the T4 Cyclone pro soon as I can’t get enough of the Hall effect sticks.

So do you have to pay the 9.99$ to remove vibrations or can you turn vibrations off in gam settings all I’m asking is if I don’t pay 10$ to remove the rumble can I still turn it off in settings

Hey ! I turn vibration off in game settings. I like to use them in racing games however. Guess if you wanted a lighter controller would be the main reason to remove the rumble motors

Hey guys. Does anyone know if it’s possible to buy a rechargeable battery like the ones for the standard Xbox controllers but for the scuff instinct, pro controller?

Hey ! The battery pack I had doesn’t actually fit my SCUF, but you can use regular rechargeable batteries yes. Not sure what packs are compatible however . My one was from my Xbox one controller.

I am on my 3rd stick,first i sent it to rma when it was 9 Months old,(costs 70 euros) second after an other 5 Months, that was a one time free repair, because i wrote an 1000 world letter how shit is that for 220 plus 70 euro. .I'm playing maximum 10 hours per week or less, always take care my controllers, never dropped, holding in the carrying case and the right stick had a very bad stick drift that means it pointed to the sky... I'm playing Cod mainly, you can imagine how bad it can be if you can't deal with recoil if this shit pointig up always. . its a garbage

Hey that sucks to hear the problems you have had with the Instinct Pro. I did mention some of the problems that can be encountered especially with stick drift in my video but to have been through three controllers must suck. Are you still using the SCUF ? Or trying something new ?

Can you use the Xbox rechargeable battery pack on this controller, I’m thinking about getting one

The third party battery pack I have doesn’t fit , although I’m not sure if the official Xbox battery pack fits or not . I use rechargeable batteries or play wired these days. Sorry I couldn’t answer your question

@@Gavlaaar88 thanks for the reply I’m getting one of those scuff controllers tomorrow and just realised you need to use batteries something I’ve not done for a few years with an Xbox controller because I’ve been using the elite ones, I think I’ll probably just get some rechargeable batteries if that third party battery pack doesn’t fit the official one probably won’t
