What is the difference between mk25 vs mk25 evo? A plastic coating on the spring?

Using a stainless steel pick to take out the O-rings and the way you throw everything around I would certainly NOT be using you to service my regulators first or second stage Mk25 and A700 carbon.

Hmmm, wouldn't that self-adjusting, crescent type tool used to remove hoses from the second stage mar the ribs on the hose end?

@@benyounger5332 Scratch, flatten, damage, abrase, booger. Isn't that the wrong tool to use on that ribbed hose connector? That tool is for flat surfaces.

Ahhh ok now i get what you mean.... Nope, that tool actually has ribs on the inside of it, that way it doesn't harm the ribs on the hose. But. A tool with a flat surface will definitely damage the hose. Thanks for the comment.

@@tomtandog5024 if you open the cap on the bottom of the part you will find a place for L key (size 5 or 6 mm), on the other side you have a place for a socket wrench size 16 or 17 mm if i recall correctly. This opens the swivell assembly. Ussualy there is no need to touch it. Only in a case of a leak

You are disassembling your gears as if it was gun. We are talking here about a security system that needs some extra care, precision, and ...cleanness more like a wrist watch would be serviced. For a great comparison, here is a first class first stage MK25 servicing : kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4OqzqugqaazfpM.html

Disassemble 2000 regulators and then tell me again your opinion, there is a thing called "mastering your element" and you reach that point in about every proffesion at a point in time and expertise and experience. Wanna see me disassemble and reassemble blindfolded? You are welcome to go and learn for yourself and perhaps work at a dive shop for 10 years and we shall see what you say after.... Cheers boy

Dear @@benyounger5332, I can feel you thought on it. I am sorry if I offended you. That was not the purpose of my comment. My point is that your demonstration of disassembling the gears is less careful and professional compared to the factory standards…and mine as a customer. But as you questioned me, if I were a scuba gear technician, I would not throw my customers’ gears into the basket as you do, I would take greater care of sensitive parts involved in the health and security of my clients and my place would be neater and better organized. 10 years of experience and an average of 4 gears maintenance a week is not guaranty of high standards. I have good news for you: you can improve from this exact second you read this line. Cheers 😉

@@SC-lo5ez try 50 a week, and again, its odd to me that you criticize out of your knowledge limits, its like me coming to your place and telling you that what you learned after years in your proffesion and i know nothing about. When you work enough regulators (ten of thousands) you learn what is critical and what is less. And, think about what you are saying, throwing metal parts into a plastic box....(compared strength of materials...) About my work place, the most organized you will ever see in a dive shop/resort, that i can promise you. And in general dude....dont judge what you dont know, (with love). Cheers.

@@benyounger5332 again I see what I see, what you show, and I compare what I can compare (on the contrary of you concerning myself). If your clients are satisfied with the way you work: absolutely fine. Not for me. Period. 10 years of experience in a business is relatively young. The sad thing about all this is your absolute belief in your excellence and your unwillingness to Improve. The world as it goes…Again fine with me as soon as my gears don’t go through you. No big deal. Wish you a happy week-end.
