Glad they got the renewal done. Hope that next time the application for 2026 goes in a bit earlier so there is less of a gap.

I’ve been monitoring the permit since it expired prior to posting video. Still mind blowing how they renewed the same day I posted video. Thanks again.

Sir, thank you for posting this video. Question. Why wouldnt the status of a dive tank be determined by the testing protocols rather than expiration dates??

Special Permit cylinders are made outside the D.O.T specs, therefore the manufacture is granted the permit to produce the tanks. An expiration date is assigned so the manufacturer maintains current with D.O.T Protocol is to remain current, if the tank manufacturer doesn't renew, the tanks are no serviceable. The expiration date doesn't deem that the tanks are dangerous, it just regulations.
