Pretty cool! I love walking along and kayaking in the river.

As a kid growing up in the 60's , my family had friends that lived in a home on the river a few miles from downtown on Bond street. We fished that river a lot and it was one of the most polluted rivers in existence. It has come long way.....

Look at that bottom. I used to live in Elkhart and the river was great. Here in Fort Wayne the rivers are muddy and not clean. But Fort Wayne is a great town.

You might find French or Indian artifacts there. The Spanish also raided Fort St. Joseph near there.

Yes, usually in late summer or early fall when flow is at its slowest

I just moved to niles 2years ago. The water here is not very clean. I refuse to cook with or drink any tap water.

Remove all dams on the St Joe river.what next they going to do stop birds from flying south in the winter.. remove the dams on the St Joe.. they only make 7amps of electricity
