    Diving can help. Essentially you are using pressure to increase the effect of oxygen in the air your breath. Sometimes if you have an injury a doctor might prescribe hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This would normally be done in a diving chamber and they would actually increase the amount of oxygen in the mix. I have a friend who was in an accident. He spent a lot of time scuba diving afterwards which helped heal his injuries. Best of luck, I hope that diving can become a part of your life as well a solution to a traumatic incident.

No channel has succeeded in the scuba diving field as of yet.... which kinda means its wide open for somebody to step in.... could also mean its very difficult to build it up since the exist youtube community of scuba divers is very fragmented. Clearing you ears is the same for scuba or freediving. The biggest pressure change happens in the first 10m so you should clear your ears 3-4 times in the first 10m. After that 2-3 times every 10m. I would start my first at 1-2m. On the way up you don't need to do anything, the air will expand and escape naturally. Here is a longer video with a lot more detail. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gISj3KOins7OqJs.html

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hey George So much to say. No you can't dive based on theory alone. You need to be qualified. So you would need to take a course at your local dive centre. Or you can dive with an instructor. The cylinders are filled with air like you breathe at the surface not oxygen. It's very high pressure and you would never be able to fill them yourself. You would have to take them in to a dive centre to fill for you. Or you could buy a compressor but that's a bit overboard. A dive centre would ask to see your certification card in order to fill a cylinder or buy scuba equipment. This channel is really just to give you an idea of what to expect when you learn. Where are you based. If you're near London you could come in the pool with me and I'll get you started with a discover scuba diving session.

    Jai Hind Jai Bihar yes you can. I wear contacts on every dive. I use disposable lenses so if anything happens they wash away and I replace them. Whenever I go diving I make sure I bring a spare set and my glasses. In almost 20 years of diving I have only ever lost one lens. I have also talked with optometrist's about this and they pointed out that even if you open your eyes under water with contact lenses the salt water should actually create a vacuum to your eye because of the different levels of salt between the ocean and your eye. But be careful to throw away lenses after exposure to sea water. There is bacteria in the ocean and you should not let that bacteria build up in your eyes if you can help it.

    Yes you can. Simplest to wear contact lenses but you can also get lenses fitted into your mask. Some masks are designed to have lenses. You need to check with your optometrist because the distance to your eye is different on your mask compared with your glasses. You can’t however simply wear your glasses and put a mask over them because the arms will break the seal of your mask.

  • @WaterlineShorts

    @WaterlineShorts

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hi Andrew. Air is lighter than water. When you breath air into the mask it floats to the top of the mask. When you hold the top of the mask, the air cant escape out the top so its starts to fill the mask. As the air fills the mask it forces the water out the bottom. By tilting your head back, the very bottom of the mask is the lowest point and so all the water escapes. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKClr8NrZr3HmrQ.html

  • @gee4526

    @gee4526

    Whenever your clearing your mask you hold the top of the mask against your forehead this holds the seal at the top of the mask. Then you slightly pull the seal away from the bottom of the mask as you exhale through your nose when you do this the air your exhaling forces the water from the bottom of the mask thus clearing it. Hope this helps you understand the theory.

    @@mohamedsbh9072 Can you tell me what prevented you from going deeper. Is it your ears or because you are getting dizzy or because you panic?

    @@mohamedsbh9072 OK. Well I think there are two things. 1. Getting dizzy is not related to your ears. That is because you are breathing heavily. Its like hyperventilating but it gets worse when you are under water. You will get better as you relax more. 2. Equlising your ears is more tricky because you can have narrow eustachian tubes. You need to loosen them up and find a way clear them that works for you. This is a good article www.danap.org/_pdf/DAN-SmartGuide-Ears.pdf

    Well, I thought I'd be afraid that attempting to scuba dive without proper training will make it where we can't skate.
