Thank you, I'll always be somewhere talking about Scuba Diving!
Screw on DIN caps do seal watertight and allow you to dunk your regulator. The only downside is that you have to stash them someplace before you dive.
Where's the other guy? You know the non scuba diver?? Haha! Keep up the awesome work dude! Missing you

Great video Mark and great to see your face on a video again. Would you recommend getting DIN with a A-Clamp adapter if we are buying a new regulator?
@SafeDiving

Hey Liam, yes, all of my regulators are DIN but I always keep an adapter in my kit bag if I visit anywhere that might not have modern valves. In a few years you'll start to see A-Clamp phasing out with more divers favoring DIN.

Hello Liam Anderson, thanks for watching.
@Safe Diving it would be nice if you did a colab with alec pierce scuba sometime
Hey Mark thanks for the video. I'm a Brazilian Diver and I want to go to tech and I'm buying my sacuba gear slowly since the covid I decided to buy the regulator 1st and 2nd stage after your video I decided for a Din 1st stage. But the 2nd stage I don't know what to choose. There is any 2nd stages that can be use in all tipes of dive that worth invest it?

There are many good regs out there. Check out the latest issues of the magazine for our group test. issuu.com/scubadivermag/docs/uk__40/56
is it not so that din regs come in 2 diferent threads 5/8 or M26?
@ScubaDiverMagazine
3 жыл бұрын
Yes, European directive for gas mix regs - they were M26, which is slightly bigger than a standard DIN, which is 5/8.

Yep, as Mark mentioned in the video M26 is used for tanks that are reserved for Nitrox > 40%. Oxygen clean tanks require extra care to keep them clean and safe so a special valve size is used to prevent mistakes. It's not that common, even in Europe, as far as I know.
for one thing it is a yoke not a clamp in northa america we call it yoke
