I love this, but I'd change it a tiny bit to literally flow better. I'd just change "untimely death" to "our demise". And the placement of "make casualty... flow my way" to "make casualty flow.. My way" I guess to uh.. change the delivery? Because I mean, this is just to fit how I sing, my lungs ain't that great sometimes. XD But also to match the rhythm of the notes as well. Uh.. no offense is intended in this, btw. 🙏

@@michaellennerman7844 I went that direction because Yourself doesn’t really sing about BF’s demise. He’s singing the last words he told to Herself before she died (from what I heard). It’s more of an emotional statement and less of a threat so it seemed more fitting if I went along that theme. (Also sorry if I got the names wrong lol)

The Sayori that replaces "Yourself" is Sayori after act 3 in DDLC, where as the sayori replacing boyfriend can be considered an alternate universe Sayori. Or Doki Doki Takeover Sayori

one thing i noticed is that even though the drawing doesn't go through any changes, i'd say that since originally after the lyric part, since it doesn't lose any colors, it could mean that there's still chances for sayori to feel happy, albeit by a small amount at the moment. (shown by the lack of warmness in her color palette, which is still there, despite everything she's gone through)

I like to imagine that this version of yourself knew that the MC wasn’t at fault for what happened to her or the others, which is why you can hear a bit of the MC in her Singing, probably died to save yourself, only for it to backfire horribly

Mod history: Version 1: MC have depression instead of sayori, and on the day of the festival.......sayori gentily opened the door and................he was hanged....and our dear sayori never was the same, she've gone insane after that and she tried to go back to the past after monika deleting everyone, she made it to bring back the past 1 day after the festival and tried to warn past sayori about MC's Su!C!d3 Version 2: After all the DDLC events, and sayori took over the game control, she tried to fix every death of everyone to them be happy forever but she failed and came back to past to warn herself abt monika's plan

Version 2 is correct in the sense that its Act 4 sayori is replacing "yourself". She's came to the same realisation that Monika did before her as the president of the literature club. But the other sayori is just DDTO Sayori.

YO U ARE INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED!!! This is so good!!! this deserves a sub man! only complaint i really do have, is that ddto sayori's voice can get a bit too high pitched in some parts. I know her whole thing is that her voice is high pitched, but it just gets a bit too high for my liking in some parts. Otherwise, amazing cover!

So basically, "Yourself" Sayori is the same Sayori from DDLC after Monika is deleted and she becomes the Club President. Having the same epiphany that Monika did, but instead of trying to keep the MC to herself, she deletes everyone so they don't have to suffer knowing that they were never real. Its kinda dumb, but it's how I like to think of it! 😭
