Use SolarFast™ Film to create photographic negatives for SolarFast printing and film positives for screen printing applications: jacquardproducts.com/solarfast-film.html
SolarFast sunlight-developed dyes are used to create photograms, continuous tone photographs and sun prints on paper and natural fabrics. SolarFast is also great for painting, tie dyeing, screen printing, stamping, batik and more. No heat setting, chemical or steam fixing necessary! jacquardproducts.com/solarfast.html

    Not in this video, but we love printing with multiple colors! Here are some examples we've posted over the years: instagram.com/p/BHiGJ2VATxm/ instagram.com/p/gY37cHlvly/ instagram.com/p/guXmwCFvg7/ instagram.com/p/pUPL5-Fvs4/ instagram.com/p/5xrfMJlvth/

    Similar as discharge ink ??

  • @jacquardproducts

    Actually, it's different than discharge printing: discharge ink removes color in the fabric, whereas SolarFast adds color. Discharge works best on dark fabrics, while SolarFast works best on light fabrics. Both help you keep the fabric soft, but while discharge inks remove color with heat, SolarFast adds color with sunlight. Here is a video on discharge printing: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dYWnstSqo66oYpc.html Here you can see how SolarFast is used: vimeo.com/channels/solarfast Hopefully these videos will help you differentiate the two processes!

    Will this work with a 10 Watts UV light indoors as well?

  • @jacquardproducts

    @jacquardproducts

    3 жыл бұрын

    10 watts probably isn't strong enough. The exposure would have to be very long, and the light source would have to be very close to the print to achieve good development of color.
