The definition of a feminist is simply: believing that women should have equal rights and opportunities as men. That's it. Men and women should both have an unencumbered opportunity to live the best life they can.

KRISTIN! it made me so happy that you said that you don’t want to just talk about dating! I love the pods when you talk about your dating experiences, but my favorites have been when you talked about self, growing, shadow work and also the beginning of this podcast when you were talking about your word for the year. This is what I want more of please more of the self building. You’re awesome at it and I for one NEED it all!!!

Do NOT Settle!!! I spent my 20's single, traveling and partying then got Breast Cancer at 34 and spent the next 10 years getting my life back physically and mentally. I did a LOT of soul searching and self work and had no interest in dating and then BOOM out of no where the PERFECT man for me, in every aspect of life, came into my life and I can honestly say I finally found "my person" It didn't happen until I was alone and found love and grace for myself and became happy solo at 46 years old...now I am happier than I ever thought was possible. I didn't settle like all of my friends...I was content being single and that allowed me to be open to just getting to know my guy on a deeper, intamate, vulnerable level then we were both like wow I am in love with everything about you...let's do this.! When you know you know and everything else dissappears.... You are on the right track with everything you said in this video!!!!! You DO YOU girl! ")

I swear everything you’re saying is exactly how I feel about my life. Zero settling still single but by choice and just hoping for the right person that I’m going to be able to have both chemistry and all the attributes that I’m looking for in a man!! FYI like you I hate when people in our lives are the worst critics almost like they feel sorry or say I’m way too “ picky “ but I don’t want to just randomly settle if the person isn’t right for me doesn’t matter what anybody else says!! Your podcast …Literally hit home with me today!

Another great podcast. Happy Birthday for the 5th! I’m on the 6th of Jan 🎉 ♑️🐐 I also feel the same about this time of year with new years and then birthday, we have quite a few life similarities actually so I resonate deeply with your views and perspective. Two of my guiding words every year are joy and freedom. Those two never seem to change, they are at the core of what I want to feel in life. I often add an extra one to carve out more of a theme for the year. I’ve added devotion this year as I’m studying Chinese medicine and need to anchor devotion into my studies. Wishing you all the best for this brand new year for you. Love the podcast. ❤🎉

I think a good reason why a lot of people put so much value on who Kristin is dating is due to her constantly talking about dating, men and relationships in her podcasts. Even on Laguna Beach & The Hills her sole interest seemed too be about boys, partying and having fun so it attracts superficial people. A lot of her UJ video shoots are racey, materialistic and suggestive and that also attracts the wrong guys / wrong perceptions. This is what Kristin portrays versus charity work, any interesting hobbies away from UJ, giving or caring about people in general such as what Lauren Conrad does with Little Market, etc. When she said about Sienna Miller: "it doesn't affect you so why do you care" - people DO care about things that don't directly affect them. It's called humanity. I think she finds it hard to distinguish her past/present "celeb" status/ego when it comes to relating to genuinely nice, ordinary people. You attract what you put out there a lot of the time. Good luck!

Love Kristin, and agree with what she said about just being content in your life. Have to say though......feminism isn't about being given a "handicap". It is the idea of being treated equally and fairly in comparison to men. So you are a feminist and most people are and should be! It's not a bad word.

Happy belated birthday 🎊. My biggest red flag in men is when they drop the ball more than once. Tbh even one time is alot. I recently read this 1995 dating book called The Rules: Dating Dos and Don’ts and it’s still pertinent dating advice today. It made me realize approaching men first will hardly ever end up in a long-term relationship let alone marriage. The book says when women approach men and end up dating them the relationship will end because the guy is settling for the woman who approached him instead of being with the woman he truly wants. I always approached men first and it never worked. I will be 32 in April and I am single. I wish I had read this book years ago when I began dating. And yes astrology is real. I believe. You’re a Capricorn sun and Aries moon, very strong cardinal energy. You are very forthright and not a shrinking violet. You don’t take shit from stupid men. You’re also a Cancer rising like me. Cancer risings will be lucky this week because there will be a new moon in our 7th house of relationships, Capricorn, on Thursday and Mars in Capricorn is trining Jupiter in Taurus in our 11th house this week too. So lots of luck in dating and possibly starting to date a friend or meeting a lover in a group setting. And the 15 year cycle is ending because Pluto is going to transit to Aquarius and leave Capricorn. As for dating in SoCal, I mean I grew up here and I have met guys from other states who become super into themselves. I haven’t noticed that SoCal born and raised men are worse than guys from other states. All of them whether they were born and raised in OC like me or born and raised in another country they have all been bad😂.

I hate the misconception of what feminism is. Feminists just want equality and to not be subject to the bullshit sexist double standards that you yourself are calling out. You sound like a feminist and that’s a GOOD thing! And men and women can both be feminists. ❤

Yes Kristin! I’m totally getting where she is right now. I to have been on the dating scene and I’m over it. Just the same old questions and conversations just looking for that certain something, I’ve come to the realisation that it doesn’t exist, that Mr Right ain’t out there and I’m no longer putting energy into men. I’m de-centering them and centering myself. It’s a change as my whole life as been based on my relationships with men and how they viewed me. Not just romantically but with my dad, my friends, my bosses. Getting older I am no longer the pyt. I have wisdom now, my mind and body is changing. I’m happy and if he does come along it won’t be from dating apps.

I recently got out of a relationship with a narcissist. Looking back at how our relationship first started, I realized he never asked me questions about me. And at the time that may have been one of the things that drew me to him because he was so open about himself I could ask him all kinds of questions about his family and his upbringing and he would endlessly talk about himself, but he never brought the question back to me., Which at the time I didn’t want to talk about me or my family or what I had been going through. But those were red flags because that carried out through our relationship. we dated for four years into this day. I bet he doesn’t know my mom’s last name even though he’s met her. He might not even remember my sister’s name. And probably doesn’t remember my birthdate. Because he was a narcissist. So look out for those early warning signs. If they don’t ask you questions about you in the beginning… That’s a huge sign.

Unfortunately, I think it stems from jealousy and have noticed that the very ones who are worried about my status are not happy in their own relationships/ marriages etc. However, I feel sooo lucky to be in a position to find love at this stage in life. ❤❤❤

People prob ask you about dating so much bc you tell the stories with such entertainment. They seem so interesting, it’s hard to go on dates to meet people, there’s probably always something new to say etc. Plus I’m sure kids are off limits and work can be too. When you tell the stories, they are so juicy for some reason! Plus your tell it like it is is refreshing bc a lot of time people are too shy to say how they really feel and don’t protect themselves.

I believe people harp on relationships from my experience because being alone people are concerned about when you get older who is going to take care of you and be there for you when you are sick? Luckily Kristin has her kids and she is absolutely right, that if you are single in your 30s people find that weird and not empowering at all. As a gay(demisexual) I believe that love is special and being single is a sign of strength. People in relationships sometimes live vicariously through single people. Because sometimes their lives can become routine and boring. Sure you have your responsibilities as an adult, but being single means a lot of freedom and their is a sense of jealously from people in relationships because they sometimes miss that freedom. I am 36 turning 37 and I am glad Kristin is sharing her views on being single, dating, and overall being strong with her views!

I imagen you do have this happening to you since you look younger than your age maybe make a podcast about this subject?? As a Catholic I would never ever give up my body while just dating someone, men want the chase, men want a women who is a challenge, men want to feel like you respect yourself. We have to be the gate keepers because men will always say yes to sex. Eeek!!Anyhow, happy you are finding yourself more and more Kristen!! #Happilymarried Word: Peace! Peace! Peace! ~ way easier to gain with God

Aside from misogyny I think that why women dating younger men is seen more negatively is because women mature more quickly than men so it seems to some as especially predatory because young men are even less mature than young women in general. But I've gotten plenty of judgment for dating a man 8 years older than me so I would say the judgment is pretty equal.

It's year of the dragon in 2024, and I think she was born in year of the rabbit for Chinese zodiac (am also a rabbit). So she's not technically a tiger astrological I think.
