He's such a gem. Met him at Steel City Con and he was great. Took so much time with us, played with my kids and gave the best hugs!

Melissa is such a badass queen! I personally didn’t mind her performance in 5 she was still great, but her amazing performance in 6 and character arc is what stamped her mark in this franchise. It’s truly upsetting she was fired so prematurely. I fully 100% believe one day she’ll return to Scream with a bang. I know she mentioned at this con that under a new studio she’d return in a second and I really hope that happens.

She was AMAZING in 6. I think the “issue” in 5 was just some of the lines/her finding the character of Sam. After who Sam is as a character was established, both Sam and Melissa really shined.

Nah she won't return to Scream cause Scream 7 is supposed to be the last of the Scream movies 5 to seven was suppose to be the Sam trilogy and it ended with her

I love that Melissa is there! I hope she does more scream panels on the future! I love hearing her accent as well, you don’t really hear it in the scream movies. And completely unrelated but she looks gorgeous!

how Matt talks about how they are normal people. The truth is, there is no such thing as a normal person (i always strongly felt that way) Not all people coach soccer (not even close). Most people do shop (however some famous people just pay someone else do it for them. kinda like with doordash). some kids (especially middle schoolers) take the bus to school and home (so not all parents take their kids to school or pick them up). I'm surprised Matt would say he takes his kids to school, because his youngest kid is 16 and his other 2 kids are already old enough to be in college.

She obviously still loves scream as a franchise, and she still seems to love her costars. I know it’s a long shot, but I’m still holding out that Sam will be back. Maybe not for 7, but hopefully in the future.

It's a good thing that Melissa was at comic con ,she was and could still be an integral presence at some point ,I personally want Melissa and Jenna back .
