Scratching for a variety of edible fish! Bad weather and big sea didn't treat us bad!
Спорт
The weather was bad and the swell big, this forced us to fish for the smaller edible species. Bronze bream was our primary targeted specie. We caught a total of 5 different species whilst scratching with the light tackle for edible fish.

@@carlrusselnel8022 normally 3/8oz and 1/4oz bucktails works great. I prefer natural colours. Black over white, olive over white, red head with white hair, chartreuse over white are the coulours I mainly use, low light and cloudy days or murky water use darker colours. Brighter days use brighter colours, olive is a general all condition colour. Pink is also great, plain pink or pink over white. I like to throw my bucktail slighty up stream and let it sink to the bottom, starting with a flick up and let it sink back down again whilst taking up the slack keeping in touch with the lure as you often get the bit on the drop, vary the retrieve on different cast, working it faster and slower, more erratic and so forth also fishing different water columns, the bittom, mid water and upper water column closer to the surface, my go to is closer to the bottom with just a jig and drop motion. Persistency is key, i cant give you a number of cast in a area, it all depends on the day and structure, i will fish a area till i think I had enough cast in every spot I think will hold a fish and covered all water columns and retrieves till I found a pattern and stick to it.
Hy everyone go through a good day and a great day Geraad had a great one and you had a good one . At least you broke the ice
Thanks once again Xander for letting us all see your exploits and the mixed bag. Congratulations Gerhard, you were cooking. 👍🎣

Xander, great work. But credit to Stefan, Gerhard and your brother AJ as well. They add to the good content.
Pragtige video Zander. Pragtige visse. Hierdie video is n pleister vir n stukkende hart. Een van my beste hengel vriende, Andries Visagie het gisteraand die pad te lank en te swaar gevind. Groetnis ou Penmaat, tot ons weer ontmoet. Hy was julle ouderdom. Bly jonk en bly lewe.

Can you help me with a few tips @ZoohookFishing. When fishing for Galjoen is it better to use a J-hook or circle hook? I use the J-hook but they always strip the bait off.
great video

I didn't like the video I loved it💯!! They are my favorite fish to target here in Durban" I didn't know they were that abundant there, but looking at the grounds ull were fishing and the amount of green weeds I'm sure there must be a lot of bronze bream" I can't wait for them to start chowing lukker here in the next couple of months" and I hope there's more uploads like this to come.. Shot gentz🤙

Hi Zander, it is so sad you and your partner are throwing good quality food back in to the water and out and around you are many hungry people who lost their job's due to a covit19. I understand you concern about the nature and under size fish but most what you did catch is and was a meal for some hungry and destitute family, nature over the years have looked after it's self even before you was born and it will still be there long after you are no more, have some compassion and show mercy my friend
Me gusta mucho tu música y tus videos cortos. 👍 uno de Camsexx.Uno Quiere compartir videos como el tuyoo para conseguir el cariño que no tiene.
