hello when ever i shoot a bullet it spawns off screen to the right, the bullet is not off center, do you have any idea why this would happen? (its something to do with the x and y position as when i remove it it only spawn in the center and the bullets down spawn at the gun)

Its really just a base, you can add the menu screen yourself by changing when flag is clicked to when message is broadcasted

Sorry this might come off as rude but personally I think this is fast and doesn't say what he's doing just switches without telling thats all

Personally when I use the bullet method it keeps spacing below or above the gun and when the positioning is right it will shoot up or doen

hey, so I'm using Griffpatch's Lemonoid movement script for my game, and I can't get the thing to work, can you come up with something, please? (It would be a lifesaver!)

Very helpful tutorial, but would the wall collision system from the previous tutorial still work? And is it possible to make the bullets hit enemies that are off screen instead of just deleting them self at the edge?

The wall collision will work! (You might have to change the movement in this game.) For the bullets hitting offscreen enemies, that would be challenging, but possible. I think you would have to store all of the bullet/enemies position in a list then check if the positions are close. Then if they are delete that clone. That's just a guess off the top of my head tho.

Hey, from the little I understand about them they're trigonometric functions that output a waving number. (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.2, 0.1, 0, etc.) Cos stands for "cosine" and sin stands for "sine". Hope this helps. :D

That would be a cool challenge! :D I would start by add another clone for the gun that follows each enemy. Maybe have a list of positions for the enemies that way the gun would know where to go. (You would have to give the gun/enemy matching list IDs.) Then I would just make the gun point at the player and randomly shoot bullets. You'd need to use a different method for cloning, that way if two enemies shoot at the same time, BOTH enemies still create a bullet. there's a bug were the bullet's do not go up or down and some times they go slow

13:17 I have a bug going on with the code right here. I put the exact same code, word for word, but it is not working. Any ideas on what would be going wrong? The bullet goes a little bit right of the x of the gun and for the y it goes down a lot from the gun.

Actually, I've figured out what the problem is. The "Move (steps) steps" isn't making the bullets move, infact they're staying in 0,0 constantly.
