I see you are no longer using the eye dropper for flux and using the smaller oil type bottle.This seems much more accurate. I just emptied and thoroughly cleaned one of my old oil bottles and am using it for my acid flux. So I don't accidentally oil my motor and bushings with flux I drew a skull and crossbones on the flux bottle. Keep up the great vids. Jorge. The sound and video are excellent. Trev must have had a bad connection.

When you finish soldering the chassis was it off with vinegar and baking soda to remove the residue from the flux.

I use dish soap and an old toothbrush then dry the chassis thoroughly. If you accidentally use flux on the motor bushings thinking you are oiling them the motor will rust. Not that you would but I can see me making that mistake because my oil and flux bottle are identical.
