Hello Dorothy! I love all the products/collections you put together in Part 1. I need to prepare an idea sheet when I place an order...I'll have to think on that. I generally have an idea of what I want to scrap when I buy the stuff; however, by the time it arrives my mind is a total blank! I am a very slow shopper, it takes me forever to make final decisions. Don't get me wrong, I have NO problem adding items to my cart, the problem is getting the total $$$ down to a more reasonable amount. I did have to stop the video and order the tab stamp & die bundle (wish you were a US demonstrator); I love being able to make my own tabs. I also spent a ridiculous amount of time tyring to find a desktop organizer that didn't have slots before I finally gave up. I'm usually in pain from sitting so long shopping that I don't think to at least jot my ideas down. I need to come up with a printable where I can make those type of comments while shopping...who knows, maybe it will even speed up the shopping process. It would certainly help me remember why I'm buying certain items. Thank you so much for sharing all those gorgeous papers, embellishments, and plans. Have a wonderful weekend!

Dorothy, I love watching you make up your kits for the month and then the layout shares at the end of the month. This time you showed a few 49 & Market kits you made up for a crop that included your sketch and printed photos. I'm curious about how you plan for scrapping at home. 1. Do you have photos in mind when you choose the kit/paper, and 2) Do you always create or use a sketch prior to beginning your layout? Thank you for all you videos which are always informative and have taught me quite a bit about layering.

Thanks Donna. Answers: 1: Sometimes I do, most times I don't. That's why my monthly kits have a variety of product. I'm more of a mood scrapper...2: Sometimes I use sketches, but mostly I go with designs that are logged in my brain. (I've been scrapbooking a long time! Haha!). I use sketches for challenges, and I''ll often do those ones on KZread.

I don’t catch many of your videos. What are you making the kits for? Is this something you do every month?

I've been creating monthly "kits" for years! I basically narrow down a selection each month. It reduces choices (saving me time!) and changing my selection each month keeps me motivated. I don't pressure myself to use it all...that would take the fun out of it! I tidy up my leftovers at the end of each month then build another kit. (I LOVE playing with scrapbooking products so I find the process fun.) Thanks for watching!
