Scrapping a Washing Machine

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, I take apart a newer model Whirlpool dryer for #copperwire #electricmotors #steel and more.
I also do a spotlight feature on ‪@BushDogScrapper‬. He not only posts a lot of good content about scrapping on his channel, but I've also found many other scrappers that I've subscribed to because he often recommends their channels. So, go check out his channel and subscribe to it if you haven't already done so.
Other channels mentioned in this video are ‪@cuscrapping‬, ‪@bigcountryscrapper6885‬ and ‪@scrapitall200‬, so go check out their channels as well.

I've never found aluminium wires in washing machines as motors before, with the exception of a few pump motors in Samsung and Kogan branded washers. I've found a steel pump motor once in a Beko front loader. But those rings I call them money rings lol they're always copper I haven't found otherwise. I'm in Aus btw

They're a pain to take apart. I usually use a hammer. There's a decent amount of copper windings in those.

I’ve never scrapped a newer machine and have never seen a motor quite like that. I’d be curious what’s inside that black bit of you do break into it. Thank you for mentioning my channel. Bushdog is great! Hope you’re doing well my friend!

Thanks for watching! Yeah, I think I might break open the black thing just to see what's inside if I don't find out another way. That's the third motor of that type I remember finding so far. One had copper windings, and the other two were aluminum. I plan on featuring a channel on each of my videos going forward. And, yours is coming soon...😃

I wouldn’t think there’d be copper inside, but there is only one way to find out! I see your channel is slowly growing and I pray it continues to move forward. Keep up your great work and attitude you display in your videos. I appreciate it, Brad! Have an awesome day/weekend.

Scrappers, tripping over dollars to pick up dimes. Did you test the washer to see that it worked or diagnose it at all? Could have been a $15 part to make a couple. Hundred. But you can scrap it and make $30😂

Not worth scraping, spending too much time for only a few dollars 😂 only if you are seriously bored and broke.
