Am I the only one who watched the entire video just for the satisfaction of seeing those bins fill up as he empties all the buckets? I love it!

I'm just sitting here like "I needed that cable."
On the plus side, you managed to get out of the yard with a free piece of scrap metal :)
@19:10 You have for sure a very positive attitude with everything, I admire that. With a punctured tire I would have gotten angry and would have probably been cursing. You are really a good guy. God bless.
Yep, with doing junk removal now I keep a tire plug kit.

Yes sir always have that in my truck
I always carry a plug kit in the glove box and a 12 volt air pump also. I don't know how many times I have plugged a tire on the side of the road, better then calling a tow truck. I enjoy watching your videos, keep up the great videos.
Happy newear from Denmark.
Wire, wire, cash on fire! G'Day Ben!
Wow - Wheelie Bins full of Wire and Brass and Alu - You had a VERY good Payday - we loved the Action at the Scrap Yard - You sounded very Pleased indeed !!!! Another Quality Video - we love it - keep Safe and many-many Cheers from us here in QLD - well done !!!!
You know what surprised me here is to see the terrain if this is how clean all the scrap yards in Australia are then I'm amazed in the US mud puddles everywhere and nasty you guys really clean love It
Pay day 🌟 👍
Pay something on the house, feed the chickens, pay the wife, get that tire kit, take more stuff to the yard....ewaste ben, the mastermind ...

Carry a few screws with you just in case you get another puncture. They'll stay in long enough and keep the air from leaking out while you are getting where you need to go.

Yeah I'd keep like 2 plug kits in the center console and small air compressor or a tank of compressed air. Most people dont know but plugs last a lifetime I had a honda accord wagon and I used to scrap in it and I had one tire with 3 plugs and one with 2 and they literally lasted until I sold the car a year later

Great video! I went to the scrap yard today myself and had my best day yet scrapping. I sold a bunch of pipes that I found in dumpsters and a lot of other big pieces of steel. I crammed everything into my little SUV. Made myself a pretty 154$ :) Thanks for the learning materials, definitely helps me stay afloat during this pandemic, peace and love from the USA!
Hi Ben. I'm happy that you were able to get the tire fixed. Glad prices are good. Stay safe and happy my friend. Ttyl my friend ☺☺☺😇😇😇
Gotta love that cable food 👌👍
Yaaa Ben! Keep these scrap yard videos coming! Nice work
nice start and yeah too good to goes well all the way spring in the tire boom just to level out the hapiness
good blog ben keep them coming gary from crewe England
Wow awesome day for scrapping almost $1500 need to move to Melbourne
Glad for your good luck payout; sorry that you had your tire damaged. Hope that don't ruin your day. It was still very profitable.

1kg = $1.35 AUD 1kg = $1.00 USD 2.2 lbs = $1.00 1 lbs = $0.45 So the 38 cents you get in your area, Ben got 45 cents. Ben got $90 for his aluminum, the same amount would have netted you $74
love it

Manhari sure has a nice looking truck fleet. Wouldn't mind taking that semi in the background for a spin around Melbourne.
I always like to have a plug in my truck, especially after going to the scrap yard, so I can plug it on the spot. Of course the scrap yard is 30 miles from my home too! I'd have the plug ready when I pull it out and I try to keep as much air as possible in the tire!! Most plugs I've put in has lasted the lifetime of the tread of the tire!! Have a Great Day My Friend!!!
What a good guy Bob is. We like him 👍
I had a rubbish removal business in the city , 3 ton truck , averaged 1 flat a week . if it goes through the side it was a new tyre , always picked up screws or some crap at the tip or recycle center , thanks for the video it was a pleasure to watch
My local yard pays the same for all grades of wire. They are unusual as the other yards don't.
Very nice video awesome
Awesome job, ben!
even with the flat was well worth the trip

always keep a reserve tire or two in a van you have so much space
Solid bro
👍👍👍
Seeing all that wire reminded me of the trailer park boys scene when they're running from the cops and stop at a farm and bubbles gets caught in some wire 😆
Sweet score...keep up the good work!!
Phantastic
you got lots of nice bins.
I got a tire plug kit myself recently after getting a 2nd screw in a tire, I figure it might happen again so why not save some money. First time I had the service station do it but this last time I decided to buy the kit. It wasn't bad to do, I did remove the tire because I just could not get the right leverage to push the tools in.
Right when you were commending them, "they" get you in trouble. 😆
You should get a little van trailer to maximize loads to the recycling yards and maximize loads while on the street scraping
Hate to see your tire like that. I could hear the fury in your voice. Really wish I could pay for that spare tire! Epic load. My mouth watered just looking at that wire. Lovely bucket of mixed brass. Sorry brass is just my favorite metal. Can you bring cast aluminum that appears to be zinc or diecast?
Current prices as of this morning is $3.20/kg for cords and $8.85 for top grade copper
Your van is fully loaded as always and moneybag full of cash :)
Ngl I think a new van is getting closer and closer
I hope you made it home on that tire. At least the prices were good, still what a pain! Thanks for the video
Has good luck with the prices and then bad luck with the tyre, sods law as they say here...
This is going to be my 2nd side hustle
well done Ben, getting ride of the coated while its high brainy man
Thanks for the interesting video! :D
Wow, I knew the insulated copper wire bin frenzy was a coming, but wow what a payday! Keep em coming Ben I'll watch you cut cords all day plus I like listening to your talk! 👍👍 Edit: Ben how about all the Tin Plated Copper plates you took from the recent variable speed drive scrap out?

For any scrappers in the USA, you can simply take his price in AUD/kg and divide by 3 to get an idea of what hes being paid in USD/lb. Formula I used: 2.2 lbs in 1 kg 0.74 USD in 1 AUD Let AUD/kg equal A, USD/lb equal U. U = (A/2.2)*0.74 U = (0.74/2.2)A U = A / (2.2/0.74) U = A / 2.97297

Don’t pull out the wire! It was plugging the tyre so the air stays in so you can make it home/to a tyre shop.

I always carry a 12 volt air pump and a plug repair kit in my van, haven't needed to use it yet put one never knows when the moment might arise.
Those round elect conduit boxes are 12 to 20 each
Hi Ben id be curious to compare prices with what your getting compared to me. I haven't done a video for a while but seeing im selling every week maybe i should.......currently im getting Bright Copper $9.65kg Clean Copper $9.40kg Dirty Copper $8.80kg Clean Brass $6.25kg Dirty Brass $5.75kg Standard Cable $3.35kg Dirty Copper/Aluminum Rads $3.90kg Clean Copper/Aluminum Rads $4.25 Iv learned the real place where all scrap yards in Brisbane sell to, originally i thought it was Sims but i was so wrong.
Having visited Manhari myself recently.I get the feeling there's a price gap between being an ABN Vs Non ABN holder. That or they have some price structure based on quantity (more you have the higher the rate.). $3kg/$2.10kg.........Insulated copper. $1.80kg/$1.20kg for low grade cable. clean brass $5.60/$4.50. Domestic Aluminium $1.30kg/0.80c Kg Am i right or are Manhari selectively ripping people off?
You need a hand “free labour” I’m happy to help
I used to scrap id always burn the coating off the wire get more for it where I am.
I like this in England
prices in Australia are much better than here in the states. most yards here are paying 4.5 cents a pound for steel/ light iron even tho the need for steel is going back up again.
👍nice payday shame about the tire but enough earned to get a new one👍
