Mike - really nice items and I like the use of scrap wood to use save resources. The outcome is to be enjoyed again - scrap wood no more.

The boxes look great Mike! Congrats on the CNC. It seems as though every woodworker I follow has a CNC which is cool, but I don’t have one, nor do I expect to be getting one anytime soon as I’m a brand new woodworker so trying to learn the manual way of doing things before I take the plunge into the art of CNC. Hey, nice job on your appearance on Matt’s 731 channel. My biggest issues with woodworking is patience with making stuff (I want it done now) and trying to sell my wares. I also need to build my confidence. Like I said, I’m a newbie.

Great Comment Brent. My CNC is very inexpensive. But learning myself. I understand the feeling of being inpatient. That will come with time. Stick with it and take the time to learn your craft. Good luck to you and keep these great comments coming. 👍

I'm with you, Brent. For most weekend woodworkers, a CNC is not in the cards. I also have noticed that many of the 'Old Guard' woodworkers have become computer operators. If you don't have a CNC, you can't make the projects that they show. Some content creators seem to have forgotten what audience got them where they are today.

  • @Woodcraft716

Thats awesome Brent. Keep on making those projects. Thanks for the compliments. I enjoyed being on 731 Live Edge. That was a highlight for me. As far as patience goes, it really is important. Letting glue dry or stain. Maybe try to get another small project to work on while others are drying or whatnot. It's hard when you hate sanding, but taking your time is important. You won't regret the outcome. And as far as the CNC. You don't need one now. I haven't made anything worth selling yet. I have a very inexpensive one. And it's ok for carving, but that's about it. Neet tool. Just not a money maker until you upgrade to a bigger more expensive one. Thanks for watching buddy 👍

@@pteddie6965 I agree. I'm not planning on making CNC videos. Thats not my thing. It's a neet tool. But not what got me here. So I'm sticking with woodworking 👍

Nice little boxes. I think I'll make a few and see if they sell. Now that you have a CNC, please don't turn this into a CNC channel. I've already left a bunch of those as I subscribe to see woodworking, not computer programming. (not knocking having a CNC, I want one as well but so many channels are just turning into "what can I carve now")

Thanks for the advice Steve. I definitely don't plan on being a CNC channel. It's a neat tool, but not for videos. I'll stick to woodworking. I hope you can sell a few, if you decide to make some. Thanks for watching and the great comment. 👍

Mike - great build bud. One thing I'd say is to be careful on some of those crosscut with less fence support than the width of the cut. Those can go nasty really fast.
