SCP Orientation is an archive of files of the SCP Foundation.
Today we will be studying Item number SCP-380: Biological Networking Device, Object class: Safe.
SCP-380 is a small, blue box with an appearance not unlike an internet router. The device seems to be compatible with any computer it is connected to, however, instead of wireless connections to other networked computers, the network is made up of biological entities within a 15-m radius. Entities compatible with this network include but are not limited to humans, animals, and plants.
When a biological component is accessed, it contains a single text document readable by whichever operating system is utilized by SCP-380-1. Each text document contains variables such as 'heart rate', 'stress', and 'blood glucose level' - among various other physiological parameters, demonstrating accuracy surpassing that of modern technology.

What does SCP-6974 have to do with this SCP?
OK, this one seems pretty harmless. I was expecting it to be able to let you edit the data when I first found out about it. Basically just a super advanced medical device that works by laws we haven't figured out yet.
Five years out of high school and this is still better than ANY class I ever took. I could watch these for hours!

Not everyone has a good or productive school experience. But also, it's not really surprising that entertainment media would be more enjoyable than school for many people.

I remember when I was at school. Something was wrong and no computer could connect to the network. Occasionally a network SCP-380 would pop up. No kidding, that was its name.
If 5 or more staff have the same prank idea, Dr Bright is to be found and escorted off premesis.
Wonder if they could use this to get biological intel on various SCP’s unable to be analyzed directly like SCP-079 or 682.
Phew it's not a mind control device or or the foundation of a telepathic network e.i. hive mind.
It could be used by MTF to detect if any scps that have breached containment are still on the site or vicinity🤷🏽♂️

Nope. It's a collaborative fiction project. If you're over fifteen, you can write your own SCP entry and have it up on the wiki (assuming the site's community thinks it's good.)
