For a moment I thought it was comical that he pretty much just ignores the bug appendage where his arm used to be. But then I realize that it may be possible that the parasite did something with his brain or the chemical processes inside it to make the host view most of the transformations as normal. Tongue bug is why the salmon plant I used to work at has such hard core anti-partisite regs. @@qwert28077 It is because the parasites take over the whole body (including the brain), but it only changes the appendage that was first bitten. the infected host takes no notice of it until somebody points it out to them, but they dont seem to mind the changes that the infected limb went through. I would go more in-depth, but I dont feel like it and I'd rather not be here all day, just watch the rest of the video for god's sake

Technically he acts like it because he doesn’t notice it. But, not just that. If your hand isn’t acting like it’s used to, then you’d notice it. He didn’t, because he felt like he was normal, but he’s not. SCPs.
