I think Shy Guy would be able to quite easily best Choo Choo Charles without having to use any kind of strategy. The Shy Guy can tear through metal and flesh like paper. Shy Guy is nearly indestructible, while Charles can be harmed by human weaponry.

The fact that he’s scared of a spider in a train is just lame. Especially when he’s survived the likes of 635, 049, and many MANY other far more dangerous anomalies. @@user-jc9og1lt4d Yes, SCP is powerful. 096 is strong, but nowhere near the rest of the SCP's. 096 has faced 682 (which could very easily pummel charles) and ended with a stalemate.

At first, I didn't know why the island was called Aranearum. But when I found out that Aranearum was the Latin word for "spider" it made way more sense.

SCP Explained really underrates 096's viability in a fight. he would realistically just beat the living hell out of charles (although that wouldn't make for a very interesting video) as he was stated to break the sound barrier easily on multiple occasions, effortlessly take hits from and regenerate from attacks from 343 while he was relatively pissed off and since durability = AP he would be able to hit like 20 lighting bolts at once. 096 should NOT be taking Ls and he is definitely NOT even close to Charles in terms of anything really

But I can see why, if 096 is smart, that it'd settle for keeping Charles alive instead of killing it. 096 REALLY doesn't like being looked at, but if he killed Charles, the uncountable amount of spider eggs under the island would hatch, which means possibly millions of giant spiders will be looking at his face and swarming him. Would shy guy beat all that? Yes, easily. Would he like to avoid that since he absolutely despises being seen? Also yes.

It's unlikely that Choo Choo Charles is related to any of the current spider scps. He belongs to an ancient race of giant spiders that lived on Aranirum or whatever it's called. He's not actually a train, he took the train shell as a suit of armor against all the rocket launchers and flame throwers that humans use against him.

I really don't like how this turned out. 096 managed to fight off 682 and he can't fight this? And even worse the nature of 096 doesn't allow him to feel fear do this could have been possible. It angers me

This was weird to me. Scp 096 could easily kill Charles with a few swipes. I have absolutely no clue why he was scared of attacking Charles head on. When he grabbed Charles’ leg he should’ve been able to rip it clean off; he’s strong enough to thrust his arm through Charles’ entire body in one go. This was lowballing scp 096 heavily.

I get that you wanted the ending to match the game. but the main point that makes 096 so dangerous is because no matter how much damage is down to it, Its bones stay together. and the fact Charlie could be hurt with normal weapons I makes more sense for 096 just tearing the poor train to pieces. Good story either way.

Yeah, in concept choo choo Charles was just to be some stupid silly game, but it just became something a little bit bigger as the creator spent more and more time on the game.

Here's something that's been on my mind for a while. What if Sauron (with the one ring) were to fight SCP-096? Instead of Sauron, what about another character like Gandalf or Saruman? Sauron could also face another SCP, such as 682. It'd be interesting to see how it turns out.

I remember there's a secret note you can find that talks about another creature they call "Gus the Bus" and that even Charles is afraid of Gus. While that and the scene showing a cave of even more eggs is likely hinting towards a sequel, it makes me think the creators got inspiration from the SCPs they mentioned in this video, SCP 2086 and SCP 3023 Don't we have ENOUGH cryptids that are based off everyday transport? Pretty sure there's 2 ice cream truck based SCPs, that demonic spider version of Thomas the Tank Engine that was basically a precursor to Choo Choo Charles, that worm thing called Train Eater, the Ticket to Ride SCP, pretty sure there was even a man-eating TUBE SLIDE SCP!

I would call it bad writing and poor research. 096 can’t be killed, doesn’t feel fear, doesn’t have the higher brain function to fight with any thought behind it, and tears through reinforced steel like wet toilet paper. Choo Choo Charles can’t break through basic wooden structures and can be driven away and killed with mundane human weaponry.

@@RedrumZombies 096 is pretty MUCH indestructible not entirely. Has tanked attacks from helicopters while the helicopters were using miniguns, rockets, rpgs even did nothing to 096. Has destroyed a entire task force by himself even with the help of miniguns and helicopters. His containing procedure during the scramble googles incident destroyed the taskforce. And at nothing will 096 stop to get you. Choo choo charles got beaten by human weapons from olden days, to this point 096 couldn't be terminated even bringing in the likes of 173, 682, and more. Yet he's still alive.

The miniguns, rockets and rpgs 096 was running to who looked at him which was 4 towns away. They used their weaponary and fire power it did nothing to 096's speed. 096 continued to run towards his target and kill it. Luckily the scp foundation secured 3 towns but not 4 since they couldn't do the 4th because 096 got there as they were about to secure it.

096 is getting better and better eventually ,I think he should be classified as a safe class..I LOVE HIM

having followed the dev of choo choo charles making progress on the game its so cool seeing his work on this channel.

This is horribly out of character, but does make a better story than; "Shy guy kills the train. The end.".

I think it is weird when SCPs get too humanized. Like, of course, there are quite a few SCPs that actually are basically just people with, for lack of better term, "superpowers", and there are others who act like normal people but are strange in some way (tapeworm children, etc) but 096 isn't one of those. It looks humanoid, but that's where the similarities end. Treating it like a person kinda just makes it less awesome, in my opinion. Like, it wouldn't just cower in fear, it'd do what it always does, jump up as soon as something sees its face, and then attack. It even tried to attack and kill 682 when they were introduced with each other and 682 is clearly much stronger and more dangerous than 096, and still 096 only stopped attacking once it became absolutely clear that it would not be able to kill 682. I think it definitely would have attacked the train immediately.

Wasn't expecting another versus today but I can't say I don't like it.
