@@reggielacey2235 In IDW, Sonic actively held back and toyed with Surge as he didn't want to fight her. Scourge is comparable to Sonic in terms of speed and power. Scourge would actively merc Surge in base. Super Scourge was unneeded and moreso just so Scourge could strike fear into Surge

@@c4_kel348 From what I know using the Anarchy Beryl allows you to stay in your Super Form for a longer period of time. However once you revert back your energy is drained to the point where you cannot stand. Unlike the Chaos Emeralds who return you to peak condition after reverting from Super

THIS WAS AMAZING! And yes this is probably how it would turn out. Sorry Surge I love you, but Scourge conquered his whole dimension in his base form, you didn't stand a chance my girl. For Scourge, I used Turles' voice from Dragon Ball Z games, some of his quotes was Jin Kazama's eng voice from Street Fighter X Tekken, and the transformation laugh was Devil Jin's from the Tekken series. And for Surge, I used Matoi Ryuko's voice from Kill la Kill IF

Amazing animation bro, I never thought that Devil Jin's voice matched Scourge's super form so well

5 Seconds in and I already see massive improvement. We all saw the outcome from the very beginning XD but very good animation!! I see that you are experimenting more with camera movement and perspectives, which I like alot. Of course I recognize the small refrences to Super Sonic 2 and etc, the bone breaking at 3:36 was straight fire, keep it up!

If Surge can't handle base game/IDW Sonic actually trying, without a power up (like the Dynamo Cage) she ain't standing a chance even in base.

Man it's always beautiful see this level of animation in pivot

pretty cool, but like I feel like Surge should've had the cage from the recent comics or something if Scourge was gonna be able to go into his Super Form.

Little did I think before today that Turles's voice would fit so well for Scourge..

Everything about this is perfect, the sprites, the animation, the choreography, the voices and the accuracy of how the fight would go, well done, new sub

Great work. It’s always a treat to watch your animations, BurnTH. I had a feeling this is how it would go. Not that Surge is necessarily weak. It’s just that she already struggled against Sonic. Of course she would not fair much better against Scourge. Especially since Scourge doesn’t typically hold back, unlike Sonic. Although that may be a detriment to him as well as we see at the end of the fight, Scourge is completely drained as a result of using the Anarchy Beryl.

Dang Scourge just gave her the hands for equal rights equal fights. :3 And the Super form is just overkill.

This just reminds me of Hollander vs omni man with how one-sided the fight was. While I don't believe the outcome would have been different, I thought surge would have the dynamo cage to even out the odds

Don't think it'll make a difference. It wouldn't be one-sided in the beginning, yes. Before the Super form. Then, the result would be the same. I just decided to make Scourge a total menace. And I think, I did it pretty well.

I don't care about her trauma from starlight and all he has done to her, she is literally free from starlight to not be his slave but still follows what he wanted from her and the fact sonic also tried multiple times to make peace and give her an out .

Is anyone gonna mention that surge having ryuko’s voice works

I guess this is as good of a place as any animation channel to leave some of my Sonic fanon concepts (warning - some of them are lengthy): *Merge Bracelets:* A new, more balanced way to bring Shadic into the Sonic Extended Universe. Previously, Sonic and Shadow could just fuse whenever by using Chaos Control at the same time, no strings attached. With this concept, they'd fuse with a new wearable that, design-wise, is a pair of bracelets (one each for Sonic and Shadow) with a half of a Yin Yang symbol as an attached ornament. The big part of the half Yin Yang is the wearer's color (blue for Sonic and black for Shadow), while the inner circle is usually a faded gray but takes on the color of the fusion partner when about to be used. Speaking of which, the fusion requires a new energy type called Mergeforce in order to be used and upheld. More often than not, when they need to use fusion, there just happens to be plenty of local Mergeforce around, but the Merge Bracelets can also store some amount of Mergeforce within themselves (a useful plot device for building up tension with a limited-time fusion). *Mirage Emeralds:* The introduction of this concept would take place with a short monologue: "Legend tells of a particularly elusive set of Emeralds... They are said to appear when two sets of Emeralds together face a soulless evil... The Mirage Emeralds." Not only is this quite specific, but their requirement to their user is also extremely strict as they require an extraordinary pureness of heart - if you have felt hatred even once in your life, they won't respond to you. Even in a Sonic universe that's as Extended as possible, very few characters fulfill that requirement. I actually came up with 3 of them and their powers: - The first to get a Mirage form is actually Cream. Some design concepts for her are that her existing colors are mixed with some pink spots, and that her ears actually knot themselves into a ribbon (contrary to what you may think, that doesn't hurt at all). In terms of powers, she's the most fleshed-out so far, mostly thriving off of her friendships. She has a passive called Barrier of Unity that prevents her from being hurt by her friends' attacks. She can get hit even by the most powerful energy blast (as long as it comes from a friend) and walk out without a scratch and without having felt as much as a tingling sensation. She can still be pushed around by them though, meaning that she can, for example, slide on her friends' energy beams for extra speed. On top of that, she can let her friends lend her their energy and powers for attacks of her own. For example, she'd end a fight against Reborn Nazo with a punch that contains the combined powers of Knuckles, Blaze, Marine, Silver and a few OCs. - 2 more characters that can use the Mirage Emeralds are Vanilla and H!Maria (i.e. Maria in her "reborn as a hedgehog" form). I haven't entirely figured them out yet, but one of them would have a Pain Drain ability where she can take a target's pain and split it between the target and herself, and the other would have strong healing powers. This would probably go along with a nerf to Knuckles' healing capabilities, most likely making them a rather slow healing whereas the Mirage Vanilla/Mirage Maria (TBD) variant would literally work like a Senzu Bean. *Chrono the Fox:* Speaking of DBZ references, here's my OC. Design-wise, he'd be mostly lime, with forest green as his secondary color. His head is mostly a repalette of Tails' head, except for a darker-green stripe between his ears and eyes (after coming up with that, I later realized I had copied the highlights of Carol from Freedom Planet, but oh well, at least it makes for a good comparison). From the neck down he's a recolor of Shadow. His basic clothes are a shirt and shorts, with the former hiding the fluffy spot on his chest until it gets battle-damaged. Over that, however, he wears a rather remarkable piece - a double-ring armor-esque thingy that basically looks like 2 crossing diagonal belts but made of a solid gold-esque metal. As of personality, he's quite protective of his friends, but also eager to ensure that they can hold their own if needed (giving Tails, Cosmo, Marine and even Cream some combat training), cares about their trust to the extent that he's willing to prioritize their wishes over their well-being (so if, let's say, Eggman threatened to torture Blaze until Chrono gives him a specific information, Chrono would ask Blaze, and if she'd rather be tortured to death than let Eggman have that information, he'd respect her decision), and can enjoy a good fight as long as there's no long-term consequences for his friends. His powers have gotten some nerfs since I came up with him, but are still rather high-scaled. He can do some shenanigans by creating portals, but his set of Mirror Crossverse abilities is where he really shines. The main power-limiting mechanic are his Mirror Energy reserves, which are similar to Ki but not interchangeable. Each Mirror Crossverse power drains his Mirror Energy, usually both at initiation and over the usage time. However, he can overexert his Mirror Energy reserves, at the cost of burning his body from within (similar to an overly high Kaio-Ken). As the name indicates, these powers work by mirroring the powers of beings around him and using their counterparts from other universes. He can copy multiple sources of the same Mirror Crossverse powers at once. The higher the combined power of his sources, the stronger the result (although it doesn't take stamina of any form from the sources), but also the higher the Mirror Energy cost. On top of that, the Mirror Energy cost of using multiple different Mirror Crossverse abilities at once stacks exponentially. The individual Mirror Crossverse powers have their own name each (functioning as Named Active Abilities) and include: - Soulful Clones: Can be obtained from any cloning ability. Shadow Clone Jutsu from Naruto, 'nuff said. - Fullmetal Body: Can be obtained from cyborgs, or from fighting-capable robots through imperfect copying (less Mirror Energy efficient). Lets him obtain the cyborg body of Raiden from Metal Gear, with an Electrolyte reserve depending on the power input. If strong enough, this can come with a High-Frequency Blade or even a Murasama. On the other hand, copying relatively weak cyborgs/robots might leave him without a Blade Mode. Also, no Ripper Mode unless he uses this while insane. - Skybound Armor: Can be obtained from flight-capable mechsuits. Gives him Iron Man's power suit. - Wings of Steel: Can be obtained from winged mechsuits, or from winged cyborgs and robots through imperfect copying. Gives him the power suit of Scrap Vulture aka Vulture Man from Spider Man Homecoming. - Saiyan's Aura: Yup, here come the DBZ references. Can be obtained from those who can reach new forms by using a set of Emeralds. Lets him gain the powers of Saiyans from the Dragon Ball universe. His Ki reserves and the available forms and techniques, obviously, depend on the sources. Similar to how the SSG ritual requires 5 righteous Saiyans to channel their energy into another righteous Saiyan, Chrono gains access to God Ki if the sources include at least 5 righteous Emerald users. Combined techniques, such as the Final Kamehameha, only come into play if he can mirror fused sources such as Shadic. Also, he cannot access Ultra Instinct or Ultra Ego, or as he says: "That's a state I cannot obtain through mere copying. I would have to learn it for myself." - Spheres of Fate: Another DBZ-referencing Mirror Crossverse technique. Obtained from a full set of sufficiently strong Emeralds (the Sol Emeralds are not enough here, and neither are the Chaos Emeralds unless the Master Emerald is also nearby). Creates a set of Dragon Balls which immediately summon Shenron. Due to the Dragon Balls being created anew each time, each wish will function as if it was the first wish to Shenron ever, removing limitations on repetition (while leaving other limitations intact, for the respective set of Dragon Balls). However, this is by far the strongest Mirror Crossverse technique, and thus guaranteed to completely drain Chrono of Mirror Energy and then deal some burn. And if he goes as far as to summon the Super Dragon Balls by using the Super Emeralds, he _will_ pass out from the damage. An exception to his power limits is his Fleetway form which he, like most characters with one, obtains by overfilling his energy reserves by a multiple (which is shown with Archie Sonic through having too many rings, but can also happen to someone who, for example, eats too many Senzu Beans at once). This form, obviously, comes with the usual sanity loss. As of powers, Fleetway Chrono has unlimited Mirror Energy and can mirror his sources across any distance. Additionally, Mirror Crossverse - Saiyan's Aura now gives him access to LSSJ and Beast Mode, and, as mentioned above, Mirror Crossverse - Fullmetal Body lets him have Ripper Mode. He's obviously a menace like no other - imagine an Scrap Vulture Suit Kaio-Ken x100 LSSJ Blue Evolved Ripper Mode Beast Mode dude with a Murasama, Shadow Clones and without control over himself. I don't think anything short of Mirage Cream (who can't be harmed by him due to the fact that him not being able to control himself doesn't change that they're friends in general) could stop him.

The voice lines are AWESOME!

Well, Surge lost the fight, but dialogue suggests she survives (albeit barely). In contrast, Scourge curb-stomped her but pushed his super form so far that the recoil may have actually sent him into cardiac arrest and killed him. Karma is a bitch.😂

Considering Sonic absolutely SOLO’d Surge, and Scourge was stronger than Archie Sonic’s base form at one point, due to funny master emerald- I thought Surge would’ve been dead the first 3 seconds of the fight

Surge’s voice lines are to reminiscent of Ryoko. Not to mention Scourge’s main weakness is overuse of the super form.

It was an overkill, pretty sure Scourge was holding back. Considering Archie comics' characters are way faster and stronger than IDW canon, Surge only at best electricity level, which is about mach 1280. Yet Scourge is easily way beyond lightspeed, at his BASE form. Him going Super and all in, would wipe Surge out with nothing left. Despite Surge having multiple DNA from the heroes, she is still way weaker than even Scourge's one percent power

Base Scourge can contend with Archie Sonic. Surge didn't stand a ghost of a chance.

You do remember she heals too fast making her pretty much unkillable she's like the zombots she survived getting smashed by a giant spicked ball while getting not hurt at all she survived the crumbling of eggmans city after Sonics fight

She heals just as fast as she is just like sonic but this us still accurate i garentee one of scourges punches is causing alot more damage than a giant spiked ball

@@Eminster well physically surge is pretty advanced and can take most hits and yeah she wouldn't win ofc not but I think she went down TOO easy

​​@@silverknight8619 -Says that a Super Form should have more trouble -Fully ignores the way that Super Sonic _humbled_ Zavok in less than a page, while in a form that gave Base Sonic much trouble in the past -Also ignores that the first Sonic vs Surge was 100% one-sided, with Sonic even trying to convince Surge to give up mid fight (Thing which even takes place AFTER this animation) Yeah, healing factor or not, the winner was pretty much decided before the fight even took place. I'd dare say that Surge put too much of a fight and should have gotten the Power-Up against base Scourge

Sonic: "....right.....get surge to amy fast, she will get her the help surge needs right now.......where is he tho" Kit: "Last i seen him was in deep forest zone, you can't miss where the fight happened" Sonic: "....thanks kit.....go along now, sunset city, that's where amy is right now" Kit: "Thank you sonic" *With surge in tow, makes a b line for the city* Sonic: "......scourge.......you went too far" (I don't know if this happened yet) Sonic (frontiers) VS Scourge.

Archie vs Idw be like:

Honestly this about sums up how it would go. Scourge is pretty much Sonic's equal if not outright superior to begin with... The very same Sonic who effortlessly handled Surge when they fought. Even without his super form he'd kick the absolute dogshit out Surge, especially since he wouldn't be as inclined as Sonic is to go easy on her. The only real win con she potentially has is that her regeneration could make her resilient enough to wear him out, but even that's highly debatable. I actually do like how long Scourge has to spend really beating on her for that very reason. Her regen lets her hang in the fight a lot longer than she has any real business doing, but it makes sense according to her abilities. I could totally see Scourge getting annoyed with her resilience and going super to really make sure she stays down.
