Miss my Scottie so much! He went over the rainbow bridge in October 2020. A fearless,, playful, cuddler. He will be our last. This video reminds me of him so much. 😭

I had a Scottish Terrier mix. That dog was a walking contradiction. He was mean to anyone in the family but friendly to strangers. He was antisocial but loved when company would come over. He would bring his ball to anyone new in the house that was his favorite game. He loved babies an toddlers and was real gentle with them he allowed them to pull his tail an ears. weighed 35 pounds but was the vet's second worse patient. He is the only dog I ever had that celebrated Christmas he would get excited the moment the decorations went up and checked his stocking every day.

Over my lifetime I have had three (rescued) Scottish Terriers (I am an advocate for adoption of any surrender/shelter animal). My first Scottie was based on the adorable look. Then fell in love with the personality, the love of family (but, "I" was always "the" favorite), the love of car rides, especially when pulling up to a Wendy's or McDonald's drive thru. When I pick up my order and the plain patty for my Scottie, all the people laugh and say "oh, how cute". True, so true, but much more than cute.
