Sad day for Scottish boxing and Glasgow's Eastend, came across as a smashing guy. RIP Willie Limond

Heartbreaking..We’re watching this just now before a hard day ahead and it’s gave us all a smile and to see him being the nicest man and respect for you James as well as it’s been sad news for you as well. And all the boxers yous spoke about have paid tribute and respect. Scott Harrison visited him in hospital and Scott’s dad Peter went to Mexico with him and sadly has Alzheimer’s but he’ll be there today with Scott amongst the other Scottish boxers as well as others.And as you often say us wee scheme people are the best and we always have the respect and morals for our own pal! 👏👏💔💔

Sympathies to Willies family. Followed him for a long time. In an age when we on about about role models non stop - here was one! a true legend... notice on every interview he done he mentioned his kids... He loved them so much.. Great example of a Man... Rest in peace Willie - I hope you are at peace... so sad rip Willie!

Massive respect for Willie. If anybody is wondering what a truly tough sport boxing is, you only have to look at Maxim Dadashev, who passed away today from his brain injuries, may he Rest In Peace.

One of the best Podcasts you have done James, brilliant to see Willie in such good spirits he has had a great career and not had the fortune he deserved, despite that he is so positive and still going strong. One of the best interviews to date and I say that because Willie should be getting work on tv and satellite, it’s great to see him tell his story and having a laugh with you while doing it... What a career, I don’t know his bank balance but I do know it should have been bigger zeros at the end...we all know he beat Khan, the television nearly copped it that night, absolute robbery... All the best Willie, you said there you come out fighting better after a slagging and bad press so I’m going to finish with saying you should retire ya washed up has been and look forward to you smashing your next opponent...🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Good video, Willie Limond is a credit to the sport of boxing, robbed vs Khan with that long count. Was brilliant to watch him vs Erik 'el terible' Morales a true legend of boxing and Willie never embarrassed himself at all in that fight. Was at the Limmond vs Arthur fight, good Edinburgh vs Glasgow tussle, wich off course the man from the capital won 😁 Just like Arthur vs Burns and Buchanan vs Watt. Be good If you could get Ken Buchanan on James, keep up the good work mate.
