Well, I believe it s because he was way under paid back in 90s w the efforts he put in. I see both sides of it. On the one hand, The Last Dance, which was spectacular, should have been about the Chicago Bulls. Not Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. Phil Jackson and the other players should have been able to tell more of their stories because they helped win those championships, too. MJ is one of the best ever and was the player most singularly responsible for their run. But, he doesn't win squat without his teammates. Yeah, MJ deserved to be featured because he was The Man and because that drew in viewers. But, outside of Phil, Scottie, Dennis, and Steve, most of the other players were barely mentioned. On the other hand, what are these guys complaining about? Scottie coming out of the game in 1990 because of a migraine was not his fault, and I didn't hear anyone suggest it was. Him messing up his back and being ineffective in 1998 Game 6 wasn't his fault. Injuries happen. He tried. Removing himself from that game in 1994 because Toni Kukoc had his number called was BS. Why complain about it? It happened because you did it. Own it and move on. I mean, what is the big tragedy? Your team did win, after all. Purposely scheduling surgery for the start of the 1998 season was BS and once again letting your teammates down. Yeah, you had legit heat with club ownership but you made your teammates pay the price for that. Again, own it and move on. Yeah, without Phil Jackson managing all those egos and personalities, they don't those six championships. I think a nice touch would have been to add him leaving the office for the last time, riding off on his motorcycle.

The thing that everybody keeps forgetting is The Last Dance brought out many negatives about MJ during his career also. The huge gambling debts, the trip to Atlantic City during the playoffs, when he didn't want to endorse the Democratic candidate just to sell more shoes, the bullying of his teammates (punching little Steve Kerr). It's not like MJ tried to say he did no wrong. But he owned up to it. The biggest problem Scottie made was during his interview just a few years ago. He said that if he was in the same situation in 1994, he would still sit out of the game if he wasn't called to take the last shot. That remark made him look worse than just the fact that it happened.

The funny part about that whole situation and 94 it just goes to show you how delusional Pippen was and he still is today. Other than scoring in transition Scottie Pippen was a terrible offensive player. He actually missed several shots leading up to that point. He was always terrible in the clutch. And in his mind he thought Michael isn’t here so I should take the last shot. He has a little brother complex to Michael Jordan.

For the last 40 years Jordan has been more than a willing participant in taking all the credit for those championships. The only thing that documentary showed me was how much HELP he had during that era & the pieces that were put in place in order for him to be successful. The weight of world was on his shoulders and - despite a few incidents here and there - he managed well and took his team farther than anyone thought after MJ retired the first time. Also, he was critical to winning the six champsionships - Period. His versatility, on-court I.Q., defensive prowess and athleticism made him a rare threat and a perfect compliment to Jordan.
