Arthur Penn I'd say the sky hook is one of the best. But if you compared the two, I think Jordan late career post fade-away was a better shot. Further from the basket, took a lot of body and leg strength to get off and tremendous skill/focus. I don't want to take away from kareems sky hook, but as tall as he was to played closer to the rim, That's why I take the fade-away over the sky hook in my opinion, but there has not been a person able to replicate the sky hook yet..

  • @plyoung97

Guys this is not about individual skill sets, this is about their team accomplishments. Jordan and Pippen have one other accomplishment that Magic and Kareem don't have besides the championships and that's both scoring 40 plus pts in the same game. Not even Russell and Jones have that.

alexxxandder I don't think Jordan was bragging too much... it's just his competitive nature. He was thanking the people who motivated him to become the GOAT. It's understandable. I would be surprised if he made a speech like Pippen. It won't be very "Jordan" to me

+Kelvin Thomas No one said he didn't earn the right to say what he said. What people are saying is that he wasn't very gracious. Just because he's MJ doesn't mean that everything he does is fantastic and the sun shines out of his ass. By the logic of him earning the right to say what he wants because he is the best, Bill Gates has earned the right to say what he wants about everyone who makes money because he is the richest, but it doesn't mean he does that. "Even you and everyone reading here" knows that Jordan used his speech to call people out and tell people off . He has to win every battle even if its not there. "but it's his competitive nature, thats why he's the GOAT...". Taking the high road is letting things go but he clearly hasn't done that. Do a little google search and see numerous articles saying the speech wasn't very gracious - it doesn't mean he hasn't earned the right. "Almost three and a half years after his Hall of Fame induction speech was widely criticized for being arrogant and petty, Bulls great Michael Jordan says he has no regrets. "I was really explaining to people about my competitive nature," Jordan tells Ahmad Rashad in an NBA TV " - Chicago Tribune

I'll never forget that dunk Pippen put on Ewing. A truly brilliant basketball player, and the best compliment I can pay him is that Michael Jordan doesn't win any of those 6 rings if he wasn't playing with Pip, and vice versa obviously. Then Rodman became the final piece of the jigsaw for 1996 to 1998. Keep watching the videos of those Bulls, people. Because you'll never see another team like them. Ever.

+Luke C I absolutely agree with what you say. One of my good highschool friends would wear 33 every single day out on the court. I was a Lakers and Magic fan since early on and I didn't appreciate Scottie Pippen until their second championship season where - after the stinging disappointment of the Lakers loss in 1991 - I began to follow the Bulls and watch their games in anticipation. I still am a Lakers fan but I enjjoyed the game of basketball so much more in the 90's thanks to the Bulls dynasty and the magic of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and crew. Good times. =)
