NFPA was really drunk when they selected this tone to be the universal PASS tone. There is no way this tone is better than old tones. I bet NFPA will be pressured to make revisions to the future standard.

My department has these, they can take a beating and still be in service. Though the fiberglass of the bottles with chip when dragged across the ground.
